New delivery reporting system
the assistance for new ideias doesn't work in the app, so I'm sending my ideia here.

instead of receiving a new sms as delivery report, could simply receive a markup in the message, as in other well known message apps and social networks, I believe this would make Textra the most famous sms app,and make users very happy.4 votes -
Priority Contact
Some contacts are a bit more important than others, nothing is worse than sending the wrong text to the wrong person, especially if it is somebody important such as a coach or business partner. It would be great to set some contacts as "Priority" contacts, making it so when you send a message to them, a confirmation box pops up asking "are you sure you want to send [message] to [contact]?". Thank you!

Call/delete command customization
Currently when the user swipes left on a text conversation, the option to call becomes available. Would it be easy to customize the command option per direction of swipe? With Android os, to place a call you swipe right and I would personally like to have that be the direction to call from the textra screens.

Option to use a different camera
The camera within the app does not take great photos or editing. It would be great to be able to choose which camera we would like to use as the default camera.

Gif/pic preview in list of messages
I switched to this app from Android Messenger because there is no way to forward multiple messages at the same time. I noticed that gifs and photos don't show as a preview/thumbnail in the list of messages. It just says "you sent a gif image". I miss this!

Have some sort of FaceTime chat, just like Apple. Let it be compatible with other Textra users and Apple FaceTime operating systems.

Cancel scheduled text if they text you first
If you have a message scheduled to go out but that recipient messages you first, it will cancel the scheduled text. This will avoid awkward moments when somebody tells you their cat just died and then Textra goes through with sending them an ill-timed hilarious cat gif.

Double Tap to Paste
You should add a feature where if the user double taps the text area (the box you type the message in) it automatically pastes the current text on the clipboard. And if users don't like it, they can turn it off. (Or just make it off by default)

Ignore prefix
For some of my contacts I use a prefix before their number (#31#) so when I call them they don't see my number. In the Samsung Message App I can send messages to them but not in Textra SMS. Is it possible to ignore this prefix?

s3 frontier fail
The s3 frontier latest update has rendered my textra useless. would really like this working again really dislike the default messaging on my Samsung galaxy s7. hope this will work for me again in the future. thanks

Let us choose a photo app to default to
When clicking on the icon to select images and then tapping the first image you are directed to something that looks like a file explorer and then you need to select your preferred app each time to browse pictures. I would love for the button to take me directly to my preferred app.

copy code when you get that for two factor authentication
When you get a code to authorize your account in an app for instance in two factor authentication. So you don't have to first copy the whole text and then the code. Or remember the code and then type it into the app you want to use

Quick reply support on Fitbit Versa
Since the Fitbit Versa now has quick reply support it would be great if your app did as well. I stopped using it for this reason.

Notifications
There should be the option to make Textra notifications as Urgent, High, Medium, or Low priority like most messaging apps do such as Pulse. it is difficult to scroll down to the bottom of the notification center in order to see my messages.

Status bar color notifications
Ability to assign a color to each contact which shows in the status bar or lock screen when a text is received. This way if sound is down or off a user is able to determine if text is from someone important or just a general text without having to pull pickup phone.
