    Let the user set senders as blacklisted upon receiving unwanted messages. Blocking number and Email Over SMS/MMS.

    it would be great to support heic image format. right now it partially support it. it doesnt keep the rotation but at least you can send a mms

  6. Word filtering & Message Details

    you should have the ability in settings to turn off filtering for curse words. Also there's no Info like time sent, date etc available when you press on a message.

  7. Complete app face-lift.

    My idea is basically giving the app a good face-lift much like Google has done to its Play Store recently. It kinda looks Textra's anesthetics are aging. But keep the colors customizable.

  9. Seperate Pictures From Text

    Like I said a few times this is hands down the fastest and overall best texting app on Android!! One feature would clean it up and make it more "professional" when you draft an MMS the picture is grouped with the text not seperate on a different line like WhatsApp, iMessage, and Google Message. It still works the same but not not as clean.

    Thanks for a great app that you guys keep updating all the time.

    when the app is open and someone texts i see the message body but the pop up box just doesn't show their name til i click on box and open it.
    seems like it used to show at one time.

  11. Method-Blocking

    I think, because of the enormous amount of scam texts & calls, there should be a way to block ALL Email communications and only allow Phone Numbers. This way, scammers with random email addresses (used to prevent blacklisting) won't even show up. This could be done client-side, where the messages show up if opened elsewhere, but are hidden in the Textra app.

    It would be awesome if the bulk and chat options for MMS were by each text, because sometimes you want an all reply and sometimes you don't.

  14. Type of number

    There are many instances that I have multiple numbers for a person, eg work and personal mobile. When composing an email and type the user's name, I have no idea which number I'm sending to. some identifier would be great.

  15. SEND LOCATION/LIVE TRIP PROGRESS

    When sending a text, can you add an option like GLYMPSE so we can enter our destination and ETA so that the person we're texting can view our live location/live trip progress and know when we have arrived whether it is to meet up with them or another place for purposes of safety, proof of arrival or convenience. Thanks so much for TEXTRA. I switched from Verizon Message+ because it kept crashing and so glad I googled best rated texting apps. Yours was named as #1. Love it.

  16. Spam blocker

    A filter that allows me to block certain characters or words. I would like to block all texts coming from spam email addresses. Instead of blocking them individually (which is pointless), is like to be able to block any message where the sender has an @ in their name/number.

  17. Updates

    It seems every time Textra is updated, it resets everything, or almost everything to default. Once every few months I need to go back into settings and reset notifications, # of times it repeats notification etc. very annoying.

  18. Media options

    Add a way to "select all" media items within a conversation in order to save to gallery, etc. Add a setting option to automatically save all received media items to the phone's gallery to reduce app memory space used on older phones with limited internal memory.

  20. Reset to original settings (default)

    I absolutely LOVE the myriad of settings but I would like to have a reset option to clear any changes I've made to my Textra app while I'm inebriated... 🤣
