  1. Statistics for chats

    Within a chat's drop down menu, you would be able to see the message count, word count, character count, and emoji count of each individual as well as total between everyone.

    This is my idea to just keep track of things, have fun, or celebrate milestones. I'd probably use it to see when I have sent 69,420 messages in certain chats. LOL. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

  2. SMS Reminder

    usually I get SMS only from various service providers and they are about the date it is due for example. would be an easy but great feature to enable sms reminder, to remin about sms at the certain date/time.

    textra icon not a circle on Android 10 pixel, but the original speach bubble inside a white circle. Please change back to slick unicolor circle as before.

  4. DPI Settings

    App needs a way to compensate for different screen resolutions. looks great when screen is set to WQHD but everything is obnoxiously huge when screen is set to 1080P for battery savings. It would be nice to be able to scale it

    Both Messenger and WhatsApp have the ability to swipe and reply to a specific message. That would be a great feature to have available in Textra, as well.

    It would be great if the messages are automatically categorized into different groups for easy perusal. Groups like Banking, promotional, ads, personal, family, etc

  10. MMS Send While On Call

    Would LOVE to have the ability to receive and send MMS messages while on a phone call. Its distracting to have to hang up to get a picture then call the person back. other text apps have the capability.

    With the onslaught of dpam and phishing texts, I would like to Auto-Delete incoming messages that contain keywords that I can choose. Perhaps a quarantine bin that doesn't trigger a notification.

  12. Group Message Sender in Notifications

    it would be awesome to know who is sending the message in group texts. Right now, when I get a group text notification, it just tells me the entire group/group name, but I would like to know who, specifically, is sending the text. :)

    I receive all my voice mail as MMS attachments. when I click to listen them I do not have the option to play them with an external player like "wav player".
