  1. Choosing sent sound

    it would be nice to select the sent sound and even getting to select an incoming sound, so you know you got a new message when that specific chat thread is open.

  2. Create task from sms

  3. Implement More MMS Size Limits

    Currently, Textra only goes up to 2mb size limit, before going limitless. Many carriers now allow 5mb, or even 10mb in some cases. This means only part of our sent MMS messages will successfully send. If they're 5mb or under, they will send, but if they're 6mb or higher, they will fail. Without a 5mb option, our messages don't get compressed down to 5mb. Our only option is to use the 2mb option, and have significantly worse looking images sent.

    the samsung default text app has work/friends and Fam/ and the ability to add custom. maybe a chat bot feature for people who want it.

    in my old phone I had a draft LIST message ; it's was wonderful to keep many messages to a same recipient to send later. why not in textra ?

    Please add a silent mode to the application that turns on according to the schedule. Quiet mode is needed so as not to wake up from advertising SMS.

  8. badge count not clearing

    I have several individual conversations where the badge count will not clear, even after being read. It does disappear from the notification bar and from the app itself, but remains on the individual conversation in the conversation list. I've tried a number of different things, even deleting the conversation, but then it will happen again later. This only happens to some, not all, of my conversations. How can I get them to clear?

  12. Android 11: Open chat bubble from app

    So unless this is an option I'm just unable to find, I'd appreciate being able to open a text from someone in a bubble without having to receive a text from them first. Bubbles don't persist through reboots and occasionally like to just close themselves at random (not just a Textra thing).

  18. Pop texts

    1 Request you to feature a pop up text when incoming. Especially for Otp's etc.
    2 Also make sure your blocking feature actually does work.
    3 Lastly if u can have a finger print lock.
    Rest is just spot on.

  19. Dual Sim - Dual Alert Tones??

    Hello there. it would be really great if there was a way for us dual Sim phone users to associate a different alert tone for each of the sims in our phones. With the standard messaging app on my Samsung Galaxy S9, I was able to have different message alert tones for each of my sims, so I could instantly recognise whether the text/MMS message was a personal one or a work one. Can this be integrated into Textra as currently, all my messages have the same alert tone and doesn't differentiate between my two sims. Thanks

  20. Reply to Specific Post

    Maybe a long press on a post and a menu of options like reply, pin, delete for myself, delete for all, edit would appear to help steer the conversation better would be great.
