Mark conversation as read or unread
I sometimes open messages and intend to respond at a later day, but I forget. I would love to be able to select a specific chat and mark it as unread so the notification comes back. I would also love to be able to mark a conversation as read, as sometimes opening a conversation doesn't do so.

Textra for Android Watches (WearOs Version)
This is not a new idea. I'm just hoping if enough people request it Textra will give it to us.
We need the app to run on WearOS 4, so that we can use the actual app on our android watches. Only being able to receive notifications of incoming messages is extremely limiting. Samsung Messages and Google Messages have apps that run on the watches that offer great functionality. Textra should as well. Personally I'd be willing to pay a premium for this, and I expect other Textra watch users would be too.
Please consider this request.

"Delete All" button for messages in blocklisted chats
I use BuzzKill to automatically press Blocklist when unknown numbers text me about political stuff. It works beautifully, but it leads to a ton of spam messages being saved in blocklisted chats, and deleting them one at a time is time-consuming. Could there be a button or menu option to delete all messages in all blocklisted chats?

could we fix the issue with posting a picture and adding any text with it.... it deletes pictures and leaves a "!"

Blacklist upgrade
I accidently removed all my contacts to the Blacklist and i found out, that i am unable to select these contacts and move them back. It is possible ONLY by one at the same time. But if You have 2000 of conversations, it is incredebly annoying. I JUST wanted to change ringtone of my contacts, instead of this it Is all Blacklisted.

Draft Messages
I'm only new but notice there isn't a Drafts Folder. Is it possible to have a Default option where anytime you close the app suddenly or switch to another task that by default a message is Saved straight into a Draft Folder? That would enable you to come straight back to the message later and not lose your work.
(Possibly with option to replace original or save as an additional draft. Sometimes you are going to send a similar message to multiple people but need to word it slightly differently for their audience.)

Read messages
There's a bug.
I have certain chats where the messages stay in bold even after reading them. Even if I write a message it is in bold once I get out of the chat and into the messages overview.4 votes -

Picture Selection with "+"
before the last update, you could click anywhere on the image to attach. now you have to select a small circle in the top right and press "choose 1" at the bottom. this adds unnecessary steps to this process.

Please change the method to attach items back to the way it was. The new method is horrible.

4.74 Option to use Old Image Selection
The new method introduced in 4.74 increases the possibility of a misclick very noticeably. Before if I wanted to send an image I would just click on it. It was quick and efficient. Now I have to press a small bubble and then confirm I only want to send one image, and then send the message. It doesn't seem like a very positive improvement to UX.

revert the photo attachment process
I can't press and hold to quickly attach one photo anymore. Now I have to tap the photo and then move past all the other photos and tap "choose 1" and then tap the send arrow or tap back into the typing field. 1 tap has become 3 taps all in different places on the phone screen. PLEASE change this back to the way it was before the update. I paid for the app because it had snazzy features like this.

new method of image choosing is awful. put it back to the way it was. whoever came up with this should be beaten.
