    It would be great to have the ability to add attachments from services like Google drive or the file system.

  2. Upgrade Textra permissions

    Textra should upgrade the permissions for android 6. I personally held off downloading Textra just for this reason.

  3. Contacts with multiple numbers​

    Each contact's number should show beside contacts name so it can be visible instead of having to go to another​ screen to see which​ number you're texting especially since a lot of contacts have more then one number. (example my stock app has my contact's numbers shown besides name so you know which number you're texting. Contacts with multi numbers you should be able to click name and that contact's numbers should show instead of having to go to another screen.) There should be an easier way wit contacts wit numbers shown

  5. Have custom Gifs work in textra

    The new S8 allows u to make gifs. But they don't send while using this messaging app

  6. Add more Textra Icon notification Color Options

    Add more textra icon notification colors. we already have a few but I think a more extensive color option list will be good. Like with the different chat bubble colors. Just add all the same colors to the textra icon notification color list.

  7. Delete message threads from stock app

    I have Textra set as my default text app.
    When I deleted a message/contact thread, it clears it from Textra, but the contact thread still shows up on my stock app.
    Please make it so that when I delete a message/contact thread from Textra, it also deletes the message/contact thread from my stock app

    Be able to see if the person read your message or not, us android users wanna feel cool too lol. i think it would just be good to have in general

  11. Notification Scheduler

    I work a job where it would be extremely helpful to set the hours in which you do not receive notifications of incoming texts. This would be important when you do not want your sleep disturbed. You could then set different profiles with different schedules too.

  13. Textra integrated with Google Photos

    Choosing photos in Textra should have integration with Google Photos. They should automatically show in the photo chooser and be able to easily send instead of having to share from Google Photos.

    It would be cool if a contact has a nickname saved in their contact book (address book) that the nickname gets used instead if the first and last name.

  15. Make pinned favorites just contact images at the top.

    Much like Samsung contacts, have up to four or five circles at the top as the pinned contacts/favorites.

    Right now they're just inline with all the other conversations and also they change order depending on who you last spoke with.

    Otherwise, I love the app and definitely about to purchase Pro once the trial runs out and allows me to.

  16. mute or unmute

    Hello guys, it would be great to add a section where you can see who you have muted. Right now if i delete a message of someone i've muted i can't see anywhere who i have muted in order to unmute him/her.

    Have the option to display newest message at the bottom rather than the top. Helpful for some of the larger/taller displays.

  18. New colors for customized notification icon

    It would be sooo fun of you guys could add some more colors for the notification icons when customizing a conversation. I love this app so much already, so it would be nice to expand the options.

  20. Match Notification Colors to Contacts

    It would be nice to see an option to have each contact's notification icon automatically change to match my SMS/MMS thread with them in the app. I appreciate that you are able to manually change this setting, especially on a person-to-person basis, but it's a bit obnoxious to have to manually choose the color for every person. I would suggest making it an optional toggle in the settings, as some people don't like to have a rainbow-colored notification bar
