  2. New Scrolling mechanism

    Maybe a little different viewing system?
    I'm bored going down and up.
    Why not a circular view where it's like a sphere?
    Or maybe a Family Tree kind of thing?
    Or maybe multiple trees where the trees represent a school or office and in that tree are branches representing friends, co-workers and people who only know by name. Then the fruit to show the contacts in the branch. Thay would be lit.

  5. Blacklist

    Blacklist rules.
    For example: taxi spam rule is all messages from numbers not in the contact list sending messages with word 'taxi'

    Blocking numbers is not enough, SMS Spam is sent from thousands of unique numbers, so it is impossible to block them before you get a spam message

  6. Unread messages at the top

    Unread messages should stay at the top of the feed. There will be times where and unread message over time will be pushed down into the abyss of my messages and I forget to respond. Add a feature to allow unread messages to stay at the top.

  10. Virtual names for short code texts

    I'm sure others feel the same that they'd hate adding a contact for short code text. Example: 23234 is the short code for a ficticous company. I would like to see in a name like 'Widget Customer Service' That could be set by long pressing on a conversation and choosing the three dots where all the other per convo customizations are. Would have thought this would be a thing by now.

  11. Try using a KEYWORDS box before the feedback title box... Please?... Please!

    That would suggest existing topic to upvote & comment on, rather than add endless posts about the same things.
    Voting on useful additions is a great concept, however...... 600+ pages of the same ideas isn't helping steer development imho.
    For example, if I search say File Sharing I see over 200 DIFFERENT posts. Each with only a few upvotes.
    If you want to see what your users honestly want, now you have to have someone compile the same ideas from hundreds of posts???

  12. File Sharing from phones file manager

    Let me decide what type of files i want to send via mms (pdf, word, excel, mp3, zip, etc.) & make them downloadable & viewable from click menu. Enough said

    Kindly add the option where after deletion, the SMS goes to recycle bin where it gets automatically deleted after 15 days. Maybe give the option to user for selecting this period. At least we can provide this option to Pro users.

    Sync the messages to google account or any other email provider so whenever the phone was reset or accidentally erased the conversation, it will still have a copy in the email.

    The Galaxy S8 has a beautiful edge notification for its messaging app. This is the only reason I use the default messenger. Please allow this setting to be a feature.

    Hi I super love textra that I bought it at your cheapest but best quality app!!

    In addition to that, I would like to commend the beautiful graphics and all. And if u mind, I would like to suggest that instead of numbers 1 or 2 in sim options, maybe we could change it to sim name and its the users option to edit the way she liked it be name, or put an icon instead of words. I hope this could reach you and u get to think about it. Thanks and more power!
