Fix of notifications on Android Auto
I stopped receiving notification on Android Auto few weeks or months ago. When Phone is connected to the AA, i don't see any notification on the car display, but I receive notification without vibration on the phone. When I disconnect from the AA I receive notification on my phone with vibration.

Add New Contacts
I'm in some conversations with phone numbers that aren't in my contacts. There is no option to add new contacts to my phone, from within the textra app.

Ability to Organize Chats into tab groups
Samsung msgs has this, and I think google does too. It'd be nice to be able to sort chats into tabs like "Friends", "Family" & "Work" for example, so you're not constantly looking at a big wall of chats on the main page.

Folders
I think a cool feature to implement would be folders to organize our messages. Also works to keep some separate from others. I think stock messaging has this.

Lock a conversation
I'd love to be able to lock a conversation I want to keep for reference, but don't want to accidentally reply to.

WIDGET
I would like to see a 4x2 widget and the ability to change the color of the notification icon. I can't see myself paying $7.00 for an app and the app doesn't have a widget

Color options
i don't like the list of specific colors. why not just give us the ability to pick any color? just a square color gradient with a picker would be way easier imo

Bubble Options
I'd like to be able to have a white text area and have a colored outline to make text easier to read. Message+ had some good options for this

Set default group colors
Instead of per group text or by contact color (I have a lot of the same "Work [name]") we should be able to set what we want every group text color to be. Message+ has this feature

Allow custom font color for contacts
contact bubble color can be customized but don't color cannot be. allowing custom font color will enable more contrast. E.g., if secular don't is black it would be nice to be able to choose white to create more contrast for a darker color custom contact bubble. This is improvement for accessibility for people with vision impairments.

Phone Icon
Why not put the phone icon up when the message is being typed instead of having to hit the arrow?

attaching images
love this app! The only frustrating thing I've noticed is when attaching an image from gallery, it sucks to have to select the image, then the image opens and you have to select the circle in the upper right corner to attach it to the text 😐😐

i want the option to copy the security code that i get sent for 2Fa or password reset via the text notification.

a quick reply function, so I can send STOP to opt out of unwanted texts without having to go into settings and turn off my signature

List message view option instead of bubbles.
As popular as comic style conversation bubbles are, I loved that my last messaging app had a list view option. I find it easier to read and view more messages per screen-space.
