    Update strips date/time/person from the convo when send as email. Aaaacccck! The main reason I chose Textra was for this feature (so I could document work conversations)... Not helpful at all if you can't see who said what and when!

  6. Fix pop-up box swipe away issue

    Pop-up preview box swipes away when I attempt to highlight text.

    Steps to reproduce:
    1. After receiving a text message, tap on notification to make pop-up chat preview box appear.
    2. Type some text.
    3. Attempt to highlight the first word (normally I long press on the first word to select it) then drag your finger right to the last word

    What I expected to happen:
    Text will be highlighted

    What actually happened:
    Pop-up box will swipe away, as if you had right-swiped on the chat.

  7. White APP ICON IS RUINING MY LIFE!!!

    On the S21+, the icon looks like it's cheap shortcut icon from one of those icon changers with 5000 ads. Ironically, since I love Textra and paid for it...I want to keep using it. But I had to use one of those cheap icon changers to swap the icon for something that looks like a messaging app...not a shortcut to someone's resume on Microsoft Word.

    You were SOOO close to creating the perfect app. Help! I can't stand my temporary solution because I know it's not legit. I also don't get the little notification dot on the icon.

    just make it so only texts from actual phone numbers come through. can make it an option to turn on and off. basically a filter.

    Dobrze by było, gdyby wiadomości można było archiwizować. Często nie chcę usuwać wiadomości, ale też przeszkadzają mi na stronie głównej, to wtedy przeniosła bym je do archiwum.i

    are there any plans to add auto reply to this. with all the accidents with people driving and texting this would be a important addition. Verizon has it built in on their message+ texting app. would you please consider adding this to your app

    should be able to have a shorter vibration pattern like every other texting app....or different patterns for different contacts. HATE the long vibrate!

  13. different ringtones for dual SIM

    apparently, it is not possible to associate a different ringtone for each SIM in dual phones.
    This feature is instead allowed by stock SMS app in Android 11.
    It is a needed feature for dual SIM phones

    Hello, I noticed when I received a text message, there i no counter of how many messages you received in the icon of Textra. Not sure if there is really none or I just cannot find how to enable it. :)

    It would be nice to change the Top contact box color during a text message . I would change it to The regular theme color. doesn't need to be the full contact color

  16. Delay/Time Set Send

    Being able to set a specific time or a delay of a certain number of hours for a text to be sent would be a great addition.
