  1. Secure Folder with Hidden Access + Flexible Call/SMS Blocking

    I would love to see Textra include a secure folder for private chats. To keep it truly hidden, the folder could only be revealed by typing a password in the search bar. This would ensure maximum privacy and security.

    Along with this, having a hidden Whitelist/Blacklist option would help users manage contacts more easily.

    It would also be very useful if number blocking could apply not only to SMS but also to calls. To make it flexible, users could simply tick the options they prefer:

    Block calls only

    Block texts only

    Block both

    These features would greatly enhance privacy and…

  2. Lock Keep from deletion

    Do not allow the keep function to be deleted. It has disappeared several times and I've lost notes I wanted to keep.

  3. Deleting old messages

    I would like to be able to delete all messages older than a specified date and keep all messages prior to that date. Have this option for all recipients or a selected recipient.

  4. individual colors

    can you please bring back the personal color choice on the lock screen for the shape icons . I used that to be able to tell who was texting without having to unlock my phone.

  5. Ability to reply with emojis to individual messages

    Really miss the ability to reply to each individual message someone sends. For ex. If someone sends one text with something happy and follows it up with a sad text, being able to add an emoji reaction to each message individually would be way preferable to sending a general emoji reply.

    i have thousands of messages and I loose the important ones bec of the daily ones. pls create folders so we can put work, family, unknown etc.

    There should be a RCS feature. Being able to see when the person is typing/responding back to your message. More customizable chat bubbles.

    Coming back from Google messages, one thing I really miss is having a way to copy-paste OTP codes. I don't use SMS too much nowadays but I'm constantly needing to work with these codes. On Google Messages, it will put a "copy code" button on the bottom of the most recent message for easier access.

  13. Capitals in sentences

    Please fix or make it switchable to turn off the program just capitalizing words in the middle of sentences. It's annoying to have to stop and retype a word to correct what is automatically happening.

  16. editing future send

    if you picked the wrong day to future send a text and then realize it later, going to edit it, if you edit the time before the current day instead of future day, it will revert back to the wrong day. you must edit the day first then time, as doing it the opposite way will not alter the day to send.
