what contacts account to display
I use my phone for work and personal use. I have my work contacts synced for calling and email but I will never text them. I hate having to scroll through my hundreds of contacts to get to who I want.

Need Group Messaging please
I've been using textra for years and am just realizing that it only allows you to receive group texts but not send them. sending to group sends an individual text to all parties and doesn't keep the text threads together. please resolve this issue to bring much needed functionality to your app. I will be switching to another text app for the time being but will gladly download textra again once this functionality has been added

Sending time instead if reception time
I think it would be more useful that the hour indicated for a SMS is the hour it was sent instead if the hour it was received. Thanks.

now that Android supports bundled notifications, it would be nice for all of textras notifications to he bundled together, and could be viewed individually when expanded

Show msg sent time&date
Have an option to show the time and date the msg was sent instead of the time and date we received it.

An option to set the language in app to be different from the system default would be nice.

Customize rings in group chat
When I receive messages in group chat I'd like to hear customizing notifications of incoming messages so I'll know who is sending them without looking and touching the phone. Sometimes I have 2 hands busy and I'd like to know which person send me text or pictures.

Tap search bar instead of magnifying glass to start new GIF search
I think it would be great to be able to just tap the entire search bar instead of the magnifying glass to search for a new GIF. Upon tapping the search bar it would clear the old search and start a new one. The fact that I have to touch the magnifying glass and manually delete my old search seems a little dated. Other than that I am loving this app.

I love Textra's design but I'd love to be able to change default background in conversations to some colour or some of my pictures.

Lg g6 always on display on notification
Please make it so that notification icon shows up on "always on display" for the LG G6. Not showing up. Also this phone does not have an LED notification so the always on display is the only way if phone is off to know if you've received a text. Thank you.

Pure White Accent Color
I'm so happy that Pure Black Theme color came out. That's one of the things I have been waiting for so long about customization. I have a suggestion that I'm sure a lot of people will also be suggesting. PURE WHITE ACCENT color. For now, I'm using the blue one because it looks like a system stock. It would look great on phones! Especially AMOLED ones! Please make this happen. Also, if you read this, please greet my geek friend who has cancer right now in the next changelog :( His name is Coco. RGB, Hex code or RGB circle color customization
I'm a guy who likes customizable applications. Textra is the most customizable texting app that I found so far. But I think it would be better if the user can input RGB or Hex Code colors :)

Smart watch support
I'd like to keep using textra, but I've bought a smart watch and I have to switch back to the stock messaging app to get alerts on my watch.
