  1. new messages indicator

    sometimes I'll have a group chat the receives 20+ messages before I can read it. it would be nice to have some sort of indication in the main chat window about which messages are new. alternatively, being able to jump to the first new message in a large chat would also work.

  3. Archive Messages

    I sometimes have a high amount of text threads with my friends and family. I have to save and lock text messages from certain people because of my child's custody case.
    I don't want to see all the separate messages until I need to respond.
    I would like an option to be able to archive it in a folder unril5i get a new message.
    We don't have the option to do that. We only can blacklist it, and that doesn't help. Lol

    Do I think it would be great if there was an option to hide the text thread, or…

  6. Archive Feature

    I love this app, I will continue to give it a 5 star rating regardless of the outcome of this request.

    The one thing I feel as though this application is lacking is an archive feature. It's the one thing that comes with the native Android application that Textra doesn't have.

    Personally, I don't delete text message. It would be nice to hide messages so that it doesn't feel as cluttered.

  7. Group Msg Flexibility / Innovation

    It's gr8 that u have the Bulk vs Chat option. It would b even better if u added a 3rd option that allows users to decide, when composing a msg (b4 pressing send), if they want replies 2 b sent to everyone (chat) or just to them (bulk). I've sent group msgs but forgot to turn off chat and ppl complained (understandably so) as it can sometimes be numerous responses. Unfortunately, in cutrent state, the sender can't do anything to stop chat replies once msg is sent. Just think... if u are the 1st to create such an enhancement....standard/trend setter.

  8. some old features to group msg.

    The way it use to be. That tones assigned to individuals would come through to group messages. Tone A to person A, Tone B to person B. In a one on one conversation AND in group conversations. Just as it use to be with Android Oreo. Most of my conversations are team/group. The tones default to the standard tone.

    I would like for my texts to appear in the middle of my cell phone screen. instead of at the top. You could give users the option to have texts and other notifications appear at the top middle or bottom.

  12. How about fixing it to send pictures

    I've tryed several times to send a picture. It takes forever if it ever sends. I tryed today to send one and it times out! If it keeps up I'll have no choice but to uninstall this and go with a different choice.

    Senders like Snapchat or other services don't support replies so in reply box should be an information about that.

    It would be a great addition to this app an option for auto reply when set with costum message and also auto send message + costum message for a special date, like birthday and so on.. And to have ability to setup costum messages for every date, not only one for all of them..

    Love the app.

    I text with iPhone users and they are always liking our disliking messages in the text chain. It's annoying in that it is displayed as "name of person liked - (insert entire message). Would it be possible to have like /dislike or up vote/ down vote functionality? Or have the likes /disliking displayed as icons rather than quoting the entire message?

    I'm sure integrating with iOS messages is a huge pain. Just a thought.

  18. Option to use the AMOLED black theme in automatic night mode.

    Currently, we can only use the "Dark" option for light/night mode. I'd like to see an option to use the AMOLED black mode instead.

    textra random selects sim1 and sim2 for sending. in settings sim 1 is default for sending. must check which sim is using every time...

  20. when sending text

    when you are sending text and you have the delay. you are not allowed to send another text delayed after that. you have to forced the 1st text through and then send the 2nd text. would be great send a delayed text then send another delayed text. I'm not talking about scheduling a text, but when you have it delayed.
