  1. Blocklist a number series

    I want to block a number series. Spammers tend to change their numbers by small increments to get around blocking, but they typically stay within the same area code plus 1 or 2 digits.
    For example, block all numbers that start with 555-12-***, or the entire 555 area code.

  2. A folder for 4 and 5 digit numbers

    I currently have quite a few texts from 5 digit numbers that i could just delete, but as i'm lazy, i would rather just have them automagically put in their own folder.

  3. Viewing Locked Messages, etc.

    A way to view locked messages in a conversation. when clicking on the top right within a conversation, an option that will show you a list of messages you've locked. Additionally, a way in the media folder to be taken to the part in the conversation when it was posted.

  4. Light and Dark mode

    An option for Light and Dark (how it used to be) instead of Light and Black. Dark mode is so much better looking than Black mode, both should be an option.

  5. Move SIM button away from Send

    In my daily use I never have to switch SIM cards when sending sms, and I suspect most people also don't change SIM a lot (when already writing the message). Having the SIM button right next to the Send button is prone to accidentally tapping the SIM and sending with the unwanted number. The SIM switcher button should be moved away, in a harder to reach location.

  6. Create Reminders or Appointments from Texts

    Would if be possible to cross link texts to Google Calendar or Google Reminders for creating pop-up reminders or appointments?

    I have many customers who contact me by text and being able to use a feature such as this would be a great help & convenience to me.

    Often when driving, I'll receive a text and the ability to either reschedule notification, or to create appointments / reminders would benifical to anyone who uses Textra in business situations.

  8. Allow wildcard blacklisting for domains.

    We shouldn't have to manually block all of Gmail.com, outlook.com or any other public email address one-by-one. The bot spammers abusing these public services and the sms/mms delivery system can create thousands of spam accounts on a whim. I should be able to blacklist all of Gmail using a wildcard: *.gmail.com, and have a whitelist for people I want such as JohnDoe@gmail.com

    There's no way there isn't a workaround for this. This is one of the main reasons I use Textra.

  12. Copy Code feedback

    Visible or haptic feedback when clicking "copy Code" from notification swipe down. Right now the option shows to copy but there's is no feedback or anything saying the code has been copied to the clipboard.

    Internet addresses and phone numbers appear underlined in messages. In my opinion, they would be more readable if they were of a different colour, obviously to be set. Thank you

    there should be an option to have your phone remind you that you have a draft message waiting to be sent. it happens to me very often that I write a response in the quick reply widget from my pulldown notification menu and I either forget to hit send or I think that I hit send and end up just swiping the entire message up which is what happens when you press send anyway. so people get very angry and sometimes break up with others because they didn't send that really important message that they thought they sent and there's…
