Spellchecker
The long-press menu on text allows you to SELLECT ALL, then long pressing again provides an option for spellchecking your entire message.

Support changing contact numbers?
I was traveling internationally and had to change a contact's phone number by prepending "+1". Textra lost my conversation history and I couldn't get it back even by changing the contact # back..?! any ideas?

Sender ID ("named") sms senders
Add option to block/mute etc. All "named" sender ID messegers. Usually spam.

Open message in text editor inside Textra.
Sometimes I need to copy a specific text, number or code from a SMS. Currently I can only copy the whole text. I then have to paste that in a text editor to copy what I need. I think it could be handy to do that directly inside Textra.

Is there a way to incorporate a duckduckgo search into the gifs that are avail. Gifs help to convey tone and sometimes it feels very limiting when I am such for a specific emotion or feeling that I want to express

Flagging important messages
Could really use a feature to flag or highlight certain messages for later use. Example would be having several ongoing messages.
Some are important and need to be followed up with at a later time/date. Flagging/ highlighting/colors would be greatly helpful when texting several clients often.2 votes -

Enable keyboard support
The send key does not have an onClickListener added to it. So when I click the send button using the space bar on my keyboard, nothing happens. All you need to do is move the onTouch block of code into an onClickListener. Then in the onTouch you simply call rhsButton.performClick()

TEXT EDITING
In the editing section don't necessarily need the cut copy paste selection, we can achieve that with a long press in the desired area or over the word(s), BUT what WE NEED is BOLD UNDERLINE ITALICIZE CIRCLE and a button for add new fonts called FONT CHANGE

app size
a way to delete data without losing all your settings. the app becomes huge and deleting data is the only way to fix it. maybe a way to access thumbnails of mms to delete them or just a way to save your settings
