  1. Allow messages from unknown renders to be grouped into a strangers folder.

    this is the only feature that go SMS does better than textra. there is a thread within all the other text messages that is easily clicked to bring up a strangers folder. that folder looks like the normal messages thread but all of the numbers are contacts that are not saved. hitting the back button puts you right back into your regular messages. please consider this.

  2. Fitbit charge 3 quick reply compatibility!

    please find a way to use quick reply on charge 3, I can receive texts notifications with textra on the 3 but can't quick reply... is there a reason why I can't?

  3. Better Integration for contacts.

    I noticed that an unknown number texted me while using this app. Well when I went in and tried to add it to my contacts it didn't go to add new contact with the number already implanted. Also the app is not syncing new contacts immidiately

    you can use the iOS Emojis in regular texts and apps like Snapchat Twitter Facebook ect.

  6. Backup and Restore Textra settings

    It seems silly that Textra doesn't already have this. Having recently upgraded devices, Textra was one the only apps that I had to manually go through and recustomize all my settings.

    At a minimum, please add a backup and restore function to the settings. Going beyond that, creating a login feature with our Google account to automatically restore settings once logged into a new device (like 90% of apps at this point) would be super!! Thank you :)

  7. Change SMS Wallpaper

    Textra provides only light and Dark wallpaper only. Provide user permission to select wallpaper from gallery and provide different color of wallpapers like WhatsApp

    When there is too much information, it is difficult to find a specific contact. I want to classify the SMS according to daily life, personal letters, verification codes, etc., and also allow users to customize the classification.

  13. SMS backup and restore; googledrive

    Textra is amazing, till the time I do not have to factory reset or change my phone. Cause then, I have to go hunting for another SMS and restore app, do the chore, which is a pain. Why would you guys not have this baked in despite several requests and despite knowing it's a must have feature?

  14. Signature - primary not

    options WITHOUT SIGN. as primary select.

    I use sign for add addresses (home,invoice,delivery,company etc)
    but primary I sending messages without singnature.

  15. Drafts for Quick Reply

    I consider this actually a bug... If I'm typing a response in the Quick Reply, and something forces the focus away (like to another app), I just lost all my effort trying to respond. It's really bothersome. I had to give up using the feature. Too many incomplete messages lost to the void. Please save what's being typed as a draft.

  17. regarding notification

    When I receive a notification of a text, my options are "Leave unread" or "Reply". If I don't read it, then it is automatically left unread, so why do I need a button for that? Instead, the options should be "Mark as read" and "Reply."

    can you make me a customized notification icon in the shape of a mountain bike? additionally can I assign different notification icons to different text messages? this would allow me to see via the icon which of my friends is texting me

    The new Customization should be related to the apps function.
    I don't see anything I would use because it's not text messages related

    Use pictures from phones contact list.
    "Pick Recipient" page should show immediately after hitting New Message.
    Have a most recent used contacts list.
