Showing recent conversations when composing a new message
I'd like to see a way/option to where, when I compose a new message or share something to Textra, the pop up that asks who to send it to? Should show my recently conversations instead of my contacts. This makes it SO much easier to send/share to a conversation from the gallery, instead of having to use the stupid image selector that's built in to Textra

Keep messages open
For whatever reason if I'm texting someone,hit the home button, and then open textra again. The texts that were previously open are no longer open

full screen option for notifications
I'd like to press the notification icon and have it open full screen and with keyboard. I drive a lot using Waze and GMaps and must get texts sometimes and pressing those tiny boxes to enlarge or shrink the screen so I can at least voice text, is uncomfortable and too much work and dangerous if I'm driving.

Stop Vibrating When Phone is on Silent
I sometimes need to have my phone not notify me via vibrations when I am in important meetings. I think it would be great if the app allowed for complete notification silence, as I still receive vibrations regardless of my phone's settings.

Highlight Emoji words
when you type lol or house or poop or airplane, the word is highlighted and if you press on the highlighted word it will insert the emoji or allow you a choice of emojis to insert.

Move dual SIM button
Please move the SIM switch button away from the Send button, they are far too close and it's easy to accidentally hit the SIM button and send the message from the wrong number.

Gradient color options!
The option to choose gradient colors would be a really nice touch. The minimalist look is very appeasing to the eye, but adding a small sense of depth with gradient accents and text bubbles would push it over the edge.

Sort by messages that have not been replied to
The ability to sort messages or filter by messages you have sent that have not had a reply would make this app a huge success with sales people. The a bijou to schedule sms is huge I use that feature all the time. This would make it a no brainer for all sales reps

Option for 'One UI'-like one-hand interface
Following the general idea of Samsung's "One UI" where certain apps initially open with their touch- interactive UI elements halfway down the screen, to facilitate easier one-hand operation without needing to stretch thumb too much.
For example: when opening Textra, the last of text conversations would be moved down the screen, so the top conversation is more near the middle of the screen, instead of at the very top and requiring a thumb stretch.2 votes
