Contact sort
Please sort displayed contacts list by last name! When composing a msg in Textra, a click on TO gives me a list of contacts sorted by... I don't know what (first name?). Some begin with first names, some with symbols, and quite a few with 4-digit numbers. This is not workable, as I have somewhere around a thousand contacts. Can't continue to use it this way. Is there a setting I've missed??

auto reply
I was previously a Verizon Messages + user. So far Textra does what I need, but I 'do' miss the auto reply mode when driving, and the custom reply (could set it up when in a meeting, or riding my motorcycle).
Textra developers - please consider adding an in app option for auto sms reply messages

Trash Area
Sometimes, I don't realize that I have deleted something important until much later. Is there any way that we can implement a trash can? I would love to go back through my deleted conversations just in case I realize stupidly that I've forgotten something in a conversation that I should've saved. I'd greatly appreciate it!

a place to make notes like a grocery list that is textable, so when the household shopper is out I can just send it. Just send it. it's a great idea. no one else is doing that in one app.

ai search
instead of trying to type in keywords and scrolling through hundreds of results to find the message you were looking for It would be better to have AI do it "find the text message where I sent that Amazon link" or "find the text message where we talked about the game last night"

visual reminder of importance
flag/mark/star a thread visually. as in i need to address thos but cant right now.. or i need to be reminded of this later. cause once read its dead. ni # on icon, no notification or noise, no highlighted as unread. and alot of texts need to be addressed later cuz of schedules or activities. also delayed timed abolity for sending

Manually pre-order pinned chats
I would really like to be able to manually adjust the order in which my pinned chats show up in the list of chats. I can't seem to find a way to do this and I would like it to be added. Thank you!

Add the option to give each conversation a title. Like if have a group chat for planning a vacation you can name it to make it easier to differentiate.

Block political texts
If the text phone number is NOT in my contacts, block it. I have over 3,000 blocklisted from the Republican Party. I have called the Republican National Committee several times. They say they can't stop these annoying texts. some days, I get over 20 texts. In November, it was over 100 texts per day for a week.
