  1. Reminder to Reply

    I have notifications set to notify me of unread messages every few minutes, which is wonderful to keep me from missing a text. They're are times though, when I am unable to respond when I read a message.
    It would be so helpful to have a snooze feature that would remind me to reply. For me it would be especially helpful to snooze personal messages until I get home from work or until I go to lunch. It would also be useful for those times in which we need to think before responding.

    I wish there were nickname options to display instead of just the contact full name.
    some contacts have multiple numbers such as personal phone and work phone so I wish I could change the chat name to whatever I wish

  4. website in a text message

    When there's a website address in a text message, it should to automatically open when clicked on. This used to happen but now it prompts me to choose what to do each and every time. This is annoying imo.

  5. make unread messages bold

    I find it is not too easy to distinguish between read and unread messages in the conversation list. The only thing indicating a messages unread is the small color bubble. It would help a lot if unread messages could be bolded. Thanks for considering!

    feedback - please figure out a way to opt out of group texts - tired of being held hostage by morons - blocking potentially blocks valued contacts & doesn't work

  7. Group Messaging Chat/Bulk toggle

    It would be nice to be able to select whether a Group message should be in Chat mode or in Bulk mode without having to go through Settings. Not sure that's possible though.

    my friends with iphones can react to my texts, but i cannot react to theirs. it would be nice to have an option to respond to a text with any emoji, and the ability to "like" or "love" a text.

  11. Copy PART of a text, not the entire bubble

    I need to copy an email address (or phone number or verification code) from a long text and I want to copy only that information, not the entire text bubble.

    needs a compatibility update to work with samsung gear. no notifications are working with my gear s3. had to resort back to stock messaging app to get notifications working.

  15. Repeat Scheduled Texts

    i used handcent in the past and was able to schedule a repeating text on a daily, weekly, monthly and yearly basis. I would love to see that done on textra. I personally used it to see who would show up for weekly bball game but I believe this would also be very beneficial in a work setting.

  16. To know if a messages has been seen.

    It would be awesome if we could know if the messages has been seen just like the app Invi Messages. If both users are using the same app through Instant Messaging MMS you could know if the message has been seen similar iMessage but on Android. Textra would be really cool with this feature in it.

  17. Convo folders

    I'm a personal trainer so I am constantly texting my clients with appointment times or just to check up (I have my gyms name after each client's name so all I have to do is search my gym name and they all pop up). So one thing that I think that could be helpful for some people would be a folder with different conversations.

    the main screen could have all the convos like it does now but once you swipe (or whatever gesture or case may be) you are swtiched to another screen that has specific conversations that the user…

  18. Group Chat Individual Text Tone

    With us being able to give each contact a text tone, that should carry into a group chat so we know who is texting versus the group itself, or at least the option to choose

  19. Can you put a lock on the textra application?

    Put a security lock specific to the textra application so the application can be secured without just using the security lock on the phone.

  20. Liked messages

    Please implement an option where the user is allowed to squelch messages from iPhone users who "Like" the messages sent. If a notification is sent that they simply liked a message, that's fine. However, it is very annoying to see the whole message printed out again in quotes.
