  1. To know if a messages has been seen.

    It would be awesome if we could know if the messages has been seen just like the app Invi Messages. If both users are using the same app through Instant Messaging MMS you could know if the message has been seen similar iMessage but on Android. Textra would be really cool with this feature in it.

  2. Convo folders

    I'm a personal trainer so I am constantly texting my clients with appointment times or just to check up (I have my gyms name after each client's name so all I have to do is search my gym name and they all pop up). So one thing that I think that could be helpful for some people would be a folder with different conversations.

    the main screen could have all the convos like it does now but once you swipe (or whatever gesture or case may be) you are swtiched to another screen that has specific conversations that the user…

  3. Group Chat Individual Text Tone

    With us being able to give each contact a text tone, that should carry into a group chat so we know who is texting versus the group itself, or at least the option to choose

  4. Can you put a lock on the textra application?

    Put a security lock specific to the textra application so the application can be secured without just using the security lock on the phone.

  5. Liked messages

    Please implement an option where the user is allowed to squelch messages from iPhone users who "Like" the messages sent. If a notification is sent that they simply liked a message, that's fine. However, it is very annoying to see the whole message printed out again in quotes.

  9. Support iPhone Reactions

    I would love it if Textra could realize that somebody with an iPhone reacted to my message instead of displayed "Liked %messageText%". This might actually require Textra to read our messages, so I'm not sure if this is possible while keeping privacy.

  10. Backup and restore messages

    I would like to be able to transfer all my old phone's messages to my new phone, as in a case of a losing your phone or having your phone die. Maybe backup to an online profile or database

  11. Colored notifications

    A while back colored notifications were changed to shaped notifications because Google said so. I noticed today after upgrading to Android pie that my GameStop notification was colored red. I would love to see Textra go back to colored notifications

    as a business person I really need some sort of customized auto reply so when I am on vacation or if it's after hours that my clients will get an auto reply with the information they need. this is very overdue.. please make this happen

    not sure why android messages appear chronologically vs just sorting new unread messages at the top? or having the option to change this in settings.

    Allow an option to delete messages without the need to confirm by pressing the delete button again.

  20. Android Wear

    add in the ability to download the Textra app in Android Wear 2.0 devices so it will have the full functionality like Android messages. Textra already works through Android Wear but only to reply when a message comes in, no ability to initiate a message from an Android Wear device.
