contacts with number
I've noticed that if a contact has one number and that number is not listed as mobile, the contact will not be available within Textra when the setting to show only contacts with mobile numbers is set. in other words, it appears that a contact with a number identified as mobile only is what allows a number to be searchable when attempting to compose a message.

They have been released into the new standard somewhere in the summer. There are about 69 of them, including skin and gender variations of some.
Some of the ones I like most: woman breastfeeding, pretzel, exploding head, vomiting face, cursing face, dinosaur, hedgehog, cricket, sandwich, can, cup with straw

Mute with auto responder.
Contact Mute option is nice and I would suggest expanding it with auto respond feature using given message. Also, mute could have automatic expiry like in WhatsApp.

Fix the issue - menu color
when changing the bubble color for received messages to white, it also makes the menu to get to settings, or save a photo, white and you can barely read it. luckily I have used the drop down enough I know around about where it is.
I have to set it to be a barely grey color so I can read it, but now my bubble text has to be grey too, which is harder on the eyes.
please address this.

Pinning messages
Would be awesome if there were an option to pin conservations to the top of the conversation board for quick access. Pulse SMS allows you to pin and organizes conversations by date in separate boards. Nifty feature.

Notification
Please add a notification to the app icon on the home screen when there are unread messages. It could be a red dot or a counter for number of unread messages waiting (1)

Colors
I really dislike the way you pick and choose your colors in textra. I feel like I can never find the color I'm looking for. I would love to have a saturation scale with the given colors, so I can make it more "muted" than the option that is given.

A separate Tab for Muted conversations
Give an option to have or create 2 tabs. The 1st (main tab) should list all the conversations. The 2nd should list all the muted conversations.
This way the main tab could be made clutter free.1 vote -
Option to backup list of senders that are muted.
Give an option to backup the list of senders that are muted, so that if required the same list can be restored on a new device without starting all over again to mute each of them one by one.
