  1. Used tabs to group emojis and add search function

    Instead of having to scroll through the groups of emoji, have a tabbed grouping of emojis similar to how FB messenger does it. Also possibly be able to search for emoji like thumbs up or heart etc

  2. Private Box, Favorite and Back-Up Setting

    This are features available to most text messaging app, like GO SMS. It would be really helpful if we can have a privacy box where private messages are kept. And an option to put certain messages on "Favorites" folder so we can have easy access on important things/reminder. Lastly, a back-up option which will enable us to keep messages we want on back-up in case we lose our phones or have to reinstall the app due to reformatting or other problem.

    instead of receiving multiple messages that someone come out of order let's receive ONE long message instead. similar to the iPhone but with the amazing style of Android and Textra

    Add a line or something under the pinned conversations to delineate them from the others.

  10. grouping like texts into a folder using rules

    I get email to text notifications and it would be nice to be able to group texts into a "folder " so they don't take up so many rows. Then it would be nice to Delete all in the folder so I don't have to manually select each one.

  16. Last-texted contacts at top when sharing

    When reaching Textra through the share icon, rather than type and scroll through the contact list each time we are repeatedly sharing with the same contact(s), please give us the option to put the last 3 or 5 contacts we texted at the top of the list. This should include groups of contacts if we're sharing with multiple people.

  17. New Compose During Timer

    Small detail, but when I am sending multiple messages to someone and have the timer on (so I can cancel in case of a typo) I have to hit send twice so I can begin the next message. It would be very useful if when you have one message with a timer about to send and you start typing again, the message with the time moved up slightly to let you begin typing a new message while the old one sends.

  19. Location Awareness

    iPhone users can share their location with a simple click on a button. that would be nice to just send a link of where I am that would bring them to Goole maps possibly. Also, whenever an iPhone users does share their location, it is shown as a vCard with only one field filled in with an apple maps link. it would be nice for Textra to regcognize that and display it coordingly, rathaer than have to add the contact and go through the contacts act to click the link. it would also be nice if Textra could regcognize addresses…

  20. Take Black Out the Icon

    Make the Icon all one color and Remove the black in the middle of the icon. This will allow for better coordination with phone themes.
