A feature that was recently added to the stock android app is ability to add icons to the top of the app of your most frequent texters. love to see it here.

unread on top
Similar to an email inbox, it would be helpful to have the option to allow unread messages to stay at the to of the feed.
I can't always get to texts, so having that option allows me to not lose them in my text feed.

its real easy to do.
make an icon at the top. make it big, bright orange.
tap it to enter pin or pattern or finger print, etc.then a list of hidden peeps shows up, select contact, and presto.... secret threads available as normal.
option to keep unhidden for x amount of time when idle before auto hiding again to avoid nuisance of excessively repeating login steps.
cool eh? piece of cake. integrate this and you're gold 24k all day.

Graphical errors on delayed sending.
Bring back the old delay clock. It's completely broken now, showing a messy blue block of colour and an over-sized, badly placed 'X'. This sort of thing stops me from buying the App.

Group headings are cluttered. Abbreviate Surnames
Please, as a setting, replace full names with abbreviated last names in headings in the inbox. I really need this for work. e.g. "John D." Thanks.

Picture/icon for conversations
It would be nice if we could add our own images as icons for individual group chats that have lots of people in them. Instead of only having the color of the group chat and the number of recipients, we should be allowed to add custom icons to quickly distinguish between several group chats and conversations.

Note to Self
Write a short note to yourself to remind you who to text (or not) and why. Oftentimes I wish I could remind myself something important before I text someone. "Keep it simple," "don't double-text," "talk about the project," etc. Optional for the user, pinned at the top of the app or is at the top of the chat screen too... maybe I'm the only one who needs this

Sent MMS pictures are not compressed in sms/mms android database, it's better to compress them...

Bonjour. Pourquoi ne peut-on pas personnaliser un peu plus cette appli ? Il serait bien que l'on puisse sélectionner un fond d'écran par exemple, pouvoir choisir des icônes ou des images téléchargées pour personnaliser les contacts ? Cordialement
