  1. color of inbox window.

    you should make the over all app itself customizable. not just dark, or light, or black , but different color choices like you have set for the bubbles and the app icon.

  2. auto change title bar colors

    autochange title bar colors to match the speech bubbles. I've been changing the colors manually each time I change the text bubble color to match the header bar and vice versa. thanks.

  4. Messages are grouped closer together

    Similar to iMessage or Android Messenger, the texts coming from one person at a similar time are grouped together. There are still divides between the separate texts, but it looks much cleaner. Because sms can break up long messages, it helps make a long text look more uniform.

  7. Default # for a contact should be the first one that comes up when you are composing a new message

    Pretty self-explanatory based on the title. It's kind of annoying having a home number, work number, and mobile number in my contacts list but textra lists them all equally and in no particular order that I can discern.

    Click avatar in group text to send text to that contact only. Or click avatar in group text for more options, rather than clicking the menu and scrolling to locate contact, then click sub menu to perform an action.

  9. Group messages together without space

    Messages sent in close together times by 1 person consecutively would appear onscreen without the gap between the texts which usually occurs in a way similar to Android messenger

    When I reply to a group chat, I get a notification from my watch showing my reply, but that my reply is from someone else in the group chat. This started happening after the 10/24/17 update.

    In the heading for each text stream, group should only show the first name and the last initial of the person I'm texting. Can this be a setting?

    it would be nice if I could search a contact and costomize them , the only way I can customize a contact is if I already have an existing conversation thread , I can't even black list anyone unless I have a conversation thread , I don't like that

  14. Turn off global unread badge count for any thread

    Problem: you have several very active chat threads but you don't want them to contribute to the global unread message badge count on Textra icon or system notifcations. aka 99 unread message and I missed one.

    Solution: now you can select individual threads and "mute" their counters to longer contribute to the global unread message badge and notification bars.

    However, each thread will still show unread message count badges on their respective threads internally in the app itself.

    Now you you fully mute your talkative friends and family and never miss an important unread messsage.

  15. unique notifications from new numbers

    I run a business and I rely on the sounds my phone makes often, as I cannot physically look at it for every alert.

    I think it would be immensely useful if you could get a unique alert for numbers who have never texted you before.
