More statistics!
I'd love to be able to see what my average message word length is per person, or our text ratio (messages received / messages sent). It'd be cool to see how many pictures you sent back and forth, or on average how many messages you send!

Automatic Send Retry
An option that, when activated, will automatically continue retrying to send an outgoing message until it's successful. That way, if service is unavailable when the user hits 'send', the message will go out on its own once service is available later.

Dismissal of Notification Reminders
Once notification is dismissed, repeated notification reminders are also dismissed. (Once, Twice, 3 times: At two minute intervals).
As it can become rather persistent once notification has been viewed, and dismissed. Users who use Notification Badges can't select 'mark as read once dismissed,' as it removes the counter.
As it can be desirable to dismiss the notification, but not to forget the message altogether.

Contact Timezone
It would be cool if you could set the timezone displayed in the thread per contact. It would be cool if contacts that have a different timezone also had a clock, displaying their time, next to their name in the thread.

Shoe contact dea Show contact details single tap
This used to be a feature but was removed. It takes opening the message, showing conversation info, then selecting menu then show contact details.
Why can't we tap the tiny contact photo at the top of the conversation to enlarge it and / or show contact information like we used to?

Conversations from the bottom to the top
Create an option for change the conversation list. On all applications it start from the top and each conversation is added under the previous.
With the big screen and 18:9 it will be great if we can reverse that. start at the bottom and each conversation is added above.
The SMS is sort like that, why not the conversations list.

Include select all and keep app lite weight
Can't select all messages in a thread at once except individually which wastes time and energy. Please shrink App size as much as possible... Thumbs up team textra!

Heads-Up Merge
I want some option to merge textra thread notifications into just ONE textra heads-up notification. This would remove some notification clutter and by extension improve productivity and ease of use.

Remove or move 'Delete Last' from Quick Reply menu
The Delete Last option by Later in the menu can be useful for some situations I'm sure, however I don't use it and when I do it is on accident when I mean to hit Later. Since this option isn't undoable, like the other menu options, if we can't turn the option off at least move it to the bottom of the menu to reduce the chance of accidental presses.
