its nice if you will create some textra keyboard with the same emojies with the messaging app.

Threads
Textra is the best replacement app. Above conversations' list, there is written 'Textra' on the top left. I request you to please change that to Threads or Conversations etc for full experience.

Confirm Send
I'd like to suggest adding an option to confirm sending a message. Many times when I mess up a word I try to tap inside the message to set the cursor at the error and I accidentally hit the send arrow. Would be nice to be able to confirm before sending.

Personal background for text page.
The ability to change background of texting page with option of preset backgrounds or personal photo. Just like the samsung galaxy.

Different privacy modes depending on if the phone is locked or unlocked
Basically, add the ability to change if the message or the contact name is displayed in the textra notification depending on if the phone is locked or if it's unlocked

Lines between main list.
It would be nice to have the option to have lines that separate the different people in the main list.

Use Article Title for LInks ipo the URL
When sharing links, use the article title as the underlined link text rather than the URL itself -- the URL link can be 8+ lines in a text message which is wasted space in a message. A "title" link immediately shows if the link is of interest.
This suggestion is not the "turn off link preview" suggestion which you have addressed ; it seems related to "enable link preview like Verizon message+" which I supported -- I'm not sure how useful a picture would be in addition to the title.

Ignore failed messages
Sometimes messages are flagged as failed when in fact they did send. In addition to the button to "retry" sending the message again, there should be one to ignore the error, thus removing the big exclamation point by the message and repeat notification of errors. ChompSMS already has this feature

Group text reply options
Replies to group text should have the option to add or subtract people.

Customization for light and dark mode
Mabye allow customize options for your text bubbles individually for night and dark mode. that way in light mode I can have darker text bubbles and in dark mode I can have lighter text bubbles. Without having to change them manually very time the mode changes

Incoming/outgoing messages
Is there a way to show if the message is incoming/outgoing? This would help to see if you replied to the message or not.

delivery report
right now you can either show the delivery report of every single message or none at all. it would be cleaner if it was possible to swipe to show the reports similar to timestamps or long press

BLOCKING SPAM SMS
It would be very welcome if textra provided a way to filter out spam sms by using a specific word filter defined by the user. Most spammers do not use any specific number but use bulk messaging centres to send sms, The user gets these messages with the recipient name as a combination of a few alphabets which arre completely random, so filtering by sender number does not work here. Therefore the need to rely on word filter as they definitely advertise their name in the Sms which can be used to filter out the Junk.

All keyboards send using enter
When I use certain keyboard apps like TouchPal, it won't send using enter. I've let them know as well in case it's an issue on their end.

Pop-up like chomp SMS has
I think Textra should have a pop-up just like Chomp SMS where it stays open in the middle of the screen and gives you an option to answer, later, delete and send using enter straight from it. Not like how it does now where it peeks and then goes away like the stock messaging app which is annoying. thanks.

Ability to like, thumbs up/down, and love text messages like in iMessage.
iMessage has a neat feature where Apple users can like or thumbs up a message instead of replying back. It's a fast and simple way to reply back when words aren't necessary.

Annoying notifications
I have picture messaging turned off. Whenever someone tries to send me a picture message I get notification saying I cannot receive it..... 100000 times throughout the day. One notification is too many. I am aware I have picture messaging turned off. An option to turn off this particular notification would be wonderful. This is my only complaint on an otherwise awesome service. Thank you and keep up the good work.

mms notification
How about getting notified of mms when using Wi-Fi so that one knows someone has sent them an mms text. The default messaging app allows for it why shouldn't Textra
