Back up SMS/MMS
A way to back up messages on the cloud would be great, so I can easily retrieve my messages even when I get a new phone. And I believe most pro users will be willing to pay for this service

Camera + vibrate option
It would be nice to have the option to turn off notification vibrate while in the camera.

changing text stream backgrounds
the only setting missing from Textra is the ability to make a picture the background of the texting streaming!! messages has this capability and I honestly think it's the only thing Textra is really missing.

Screen rotate lock
I don't want to set my entire phone to portrait mode only, but I don't want Textra to be in landscape mode ever because texting like that is the absolute worst. can you add a setting that locks textra in portrait?

reoccurring MMS
I have an issue with BBD100-2 device. it repeats MMS from any and every contact.. I have factory reset device and problems persist

Better Video Quality
I'm not sure if this is Textra or my phone (Galaxy S7), but when someone sends me a video it's pretty bad quality both audio and video. I would like to see this improved if it is Textra and not my phone

Send a sound file in a text response
I would like to send a sound file like an imoji. Much like a notification, but it will play in the text it's self when the user looks at their text message or when they hit play. I would like to send a mp3 file that would respond to a text message saying "Negative ghost rider, pattern is full." from Top Gun. etc...

Add videos as attachments from camera roll
Seriously, there's no reason I or anyone else on here should be having to request this. This should have been a standard feature.

Delete media only option
I'd like to be able to delete pictures in a thread to save space while keeping the text.

custom add menu
add option not dissimilar to Gboard's custom extended menu for sharing media files or emotes, delayed content or what have you. Allow custom menu so as to maximize individual use the add menu.
example: say you never send gifs or emotes - solve this by replacing or removing those options via settings or some sort of qs like drag n drop.

Send delay decimal
allow for fractional durations for send delay mechanic in order fo offer more customization.
the idea is that 1 second is not enough time, but 2 seconds is too long.
