Font color
it would be great to be able to change the font color of messages. also when I turn the background screen color from dark to light my fonts are more an o
utline type font and hard to read. in other words the inside of the font is actually White with an outline drawn around it. sound notification customization even when phone setting on vibrate or silent
I have a customized setting that you offer just for my son's phone number that even when my Galaxy S6 is on silent the override feature for his phone number in the Textra settings is set to vibrate equal always. Is there a feature available so that even if my phone is on vibrate or silent that there can be an override and it will always do the associated ringtone?

SendLeap.com to use Textra on Android, but syncs with Web + PC app!
I tried SO many ways to text over my PC via web\app that synced with Textra but nothing that I liked.
I tried Android Messages for Web, it was ok, but I hated using the app instead of Textra. Switching back and forth sucked too.
There was an app I found - TextTo.io, and they just renamed to SendLeap.com -- it works GREAT.
I think it was too expensive but I hope the guys keep it around. It was my favorite.

Ability to select all messages inside a conversation thread, or auto-delete messages older than a certain time.
It would be nice to be able to select all messages inside a conversation instead of one by one like it is right now, so that I can then de-select the few messages i want to keep.
It would be even nicer to add the function to auto-delete messages older than a certain time period (older than a month for example) so that the inbox is auto-maintained and we just lock messages we want to keep.1 vote -

bug in menu bar on android 8
when first launching Textra the menu bar blinks dark and then goes white. this does not happen when switching back to the app once launched. also should go dark to match dark themes. samsung galaxy s9.

Text bubbles and shades of black
The text message bubbles should synchronize when multiple texts are sent at the same time. For example: if three texts are sent at the same time, only one of those texts should have the tail and the others should just mesh with it like it does on What's App, IOS, and other text message apps. Love the app. I really like all the customizations, maybe another shade of black between pitch black and dark gray would be nice.

Automatic Night Mode
Automatic night mode should respond to whether or not Night Light is enabled. A light theme when Night Light is disabled and a dark theme when it is enabled.

I swear if I have one more pop up ad open when I go to select the top message in this app and I click on it I'm going to scream! Seriously, just display it in the top slot 100% of the time, or let it scroll a few down and reset to the top before it leaves the screen. It's extremely infuriating to get conned into clicking on those things. I've already uninstalled in the past for this, and you changed it so I came back. Vibration - yes (when vibrations for phone calls are turned on).
Can you please add one more option related to vibration from telephone calls?
Normally I have always turned on all kind of vibration notification, but at night I would like to have all vibrations turned off.
Now there is an option: “yes (when there are ONLY vibration turned on)”
And I would like to have: “yes(when vibrations for phone calls are turned on).
Something like that, of course if there is such a possibility :)1 vote
