  1. Be able to send more than one text outside of app

    Right now if someone texts you and your not in the app, when you reply youll only be able to send one text before it closes the window. There should be a setting to turn off automatically closing the window, using the back button instead to close the window so you can send multiple texts.

  2. Please put microphone button on main screen. Once it was their , now its not until I start typing please put back on their helps me

    Please hit the microphone button back on the main screen cuz it helps me when I'm in a hurry and when I'm driving and I don't like to text when I'm driving it was on there then it wasn't it and it was on there now it's not and it helped me out a lot and it doesn't show up until I start typing a word this is not help me out at all please put it back on the main screen

  3. Allow more customization!

    We are loyal to Android because we can customize so much. I would love to be able to change the hues available... even a slider to lighten or deepen the color. Give us the ability to add a color to our background. Light or dark doesn't cut it! I love this app, but REALLY want to make it mine on MY phone.

  4. Sharing brings up conversation list

    When you share outside the app and pick Textra you get a contact search. It should go to your condo list, so you can pick a group for instance, because it's otherwise impossible. I'm not sure why it's like this but I e never used a messaging app that doesn't give you your conversations as an option. Can't use this app without that.

  5. location choice sim button

    I have a recurring problem when I type the texts. I often inadvertently press the button to choose the SIM card. also I have to monitor each text message if the selected SIM card is the right one. it's weary. would it be possible to move this button away from the keyboard, the text being typed, and the notification area?

  6. Read-only messaging

    There are a lot of notifications coming as SMSs (from banks, telco, etc.) and you'll never send something back to these contacts- this made chat "read-only". Will be nice to have an option to mark a contact as read-only and thus not showing "send message" area below messsages fflow.

  7. notification vibrate customization

    different notification options for screen on, screen off.
    I don't feel the light buzz in my pocket so I'd like to set a longer notification. I don't want a long notification while the phone is in my hand.

  9. Drop-Down Web Page Previews

    Can you guys add the option to have a drop down/pull down Arrow next to web links?

    sometimes in conversations, it takes a little longer to scroll through messages because the chat gets pretty long from all the web links we send each other.

    I feel that if we had the option to choose what links we can see Previews for (such as a drop down/pull down Arrow) it would make the web Previews more efficient

    would be awesome if there was a quick option to silent notifications from a certain chat or group chat. Maybe a 24h option. Would be very convenient for overactive group texts.

  14. Edit Most Recently Used List of Contacts

    Long pressing on the app icon displays the three most recently used contacts but the list is not correct. I stopped txting a trades person months ago but he still shows up in the list. It's a good feature but the algorithm needs to be improved or users allowed to select their own contacts. Blocking him removes him from the list but I don't want to do that and the number reappears after unblocking.
