    I'll have to downgrade from Lollipop unless theres some kind of workaround.

    I just ran into this issue yesterday on a OnePlus One after upgrading to Lollipop. My Sim card number is what Textra defaults to for standard SMS. Before the OS update Textra would only do that for MMS because Google Voice didn't support it.
