  2. Non-vibrating keyboard

    I have all of my vibration settings on "off," but the Textra keyboard still vibrates on touch. It would be great if we had the option to toggle this on or off.

  5. recipient choice

    it's annoying that you choose a new message with the icon in the bottom-right corner, then you choose a contact but don't have all of the telephone numbers under that contact as an option. It only allows you one contact number under one individual contact. Some people I have more than one cell phone for that I may want to choose a different cell phone for a message but can't.

    Presently the app only supports single and multiple vibrates. I would like to see double vibrate notifications like many stock messaging apps use.

    I love the New all-white future but it would be great if the text inside the conversation thread could be any color I wanted instead of just black grey and white.

  11. Ad placeholder at top of thread list

    Sometimes when I do not have great service or my phone is lagging, the ad at the top of my thread list has a delay before appearing. When I want to select the top conversation the ad will appear at the last second at the top causing me to accidentally click the ad and bring on much more delay and frustration waiting for my browser to open and load the page.   13. Text input box, privacy, chat heads, pinned icon

    I have tried all of the texting apps, each of which had a fatal flaw... except Textra. Though not perfect, it does come close.

    Here are a few things that I would like to see.

    Text input:
    Add the option to customize the text input box separately from other areas. To include the color of it, and adding and adjusting the color of the outline of the box.

    Privacy:
    Option to make individual messages locked. Hide individuals' last message from being visible in the list view. Private inbox, accessible through a hidden means... such as sending a message to "Unlock0000"…

  14. Send/receive SMS from second number (on single SIM phone)

    Would love to use my (single SIM) work phone to also send/receive SMS from my other, private number. Private phone can be always on and in the same WiFi network, with Textra on both phones.

    Would be great if the chat bubbles were grouped up and space in between bubbles was reduced. Also there should be even lighter colours for the chat bubble background available to choose from.

  20. Ability to hide messages with easy access

    Others have mentioned this also but it would be nice to just hide/block messages from prying eyes but with easy access to view.
