    we need folders , I have a cluttered mess of business and personal messages all mixed together ,it would be nice to get a little organization even though it is visually appealing with all the colors

  2. setting for default to gallery

    too many current steps to get to gallery albums. current steps are click plus, select photo option, select hamburger on right, select browse, select gallery option.

    I have enjoyed this app. The only thing missing is to be able to have some colored background or to be able to put a background pic for both the list of names and the text background. It would be perfect!

  5. Backup & Recovery Messages

    Create or guide best practice to Backup & Restore Messages after Factory Reset. Funny I see over year old messages after reloading app but huge gap. More current would be preferred but all would be best.

  6. Use badges to indicate Flags & Unread.

    Add Flag messages, and Mark as Unread.
    Use msg badges to indicate the number of unread, leave badges blank for flagged, no badge for read msgs.

  7. I wish voice to text handled numbers differently

    When using voice to text, I would love it if numbers wouldn't always resolve as time. I just tried to voice-to- text my friend about the snow we're expecting to get, and it displayed as "My weather app says 3:00 to 5:00" instead of " 3 to 5". By default it displays spoken numbers as time if you say "o'clock" afterward, so it would be nice if it wouldn't default to time when you just say a number.

    new update idea for Android users : give us an option to send an SMS/MMS text or an RCS chat. the difference is you get read receipts with RCS chats, whereas you don't get those with SMS or MMS texts

    many times I run into a situation where, for all sorts of different reasons: schedules, meetings, underground or on a plane, asleep someone I intend to send a message or response to is unavailable or the timing would be less than idea BUT no one, not them, not me know exactly WHEN WOULD BE ideal.

    So the Textra user composes the message and INSTEAD of scheduling a send being what controls the timing of the send , the Textra user sets a TRIGGER such that (for instance) ANY/the next received message from that person immediately results in the pre-composed message…

    Adding groups or tabs for conversations, mainly to differentiate your actual texts from two-factor code texts or other spam/automated messages. A way to have actual conversations/contacts in one place

  20. Who Texted Last - You or Them

    When you're looking at all your messages in the app, it would be awesome if there was a way to tell who responded last in the conversation without having to click on each individual conversation. for instance if you were the last to text it would show "You: the text you sent" if it was the other person, it would just be the words from their text
