Option to quickly turn off or change a profile for notifications
First off, I love the app. I'm a pro user and very glad I am. Now, here's my scenario: I type pretty slowly on a phone keyboard, but I type 100+ words per minute on a laptop or other full size keyboard. On my computers, I've downloaded the Verizon app Message+, which allows me to text using my computer instead of my phone keyboard. However, when messages come in, I need the phone to stop showing me the notifications, and have them only on the computer. Adding new contacts
What happened to being able to add a new contact when they text you? You used to be able to use the drop down menu and choose add contact. That option is gone now

Better cursors
I would like to see thicker cursors with bolder colors so they are clearly visible no matter the background color. I find it hard to see in my high resolution screen.

Expand the amount of primary theme colors
I feel as though the selection of primary theme colors is lacking compared to secondary colors - it is very broad compared to the specificity and depth of the secondary color pallette. At the very least, is it possible to allow the primary colors have the same collection of secondary colors; or maybe combine both into one big pallette and have them be selectable for use in either primary or secondary positions?

Insert Photos from Withinsideep Textra.
Add capability to insert photos from Gallery from within Textra as opposed to the other way around selecting photos in Gallery and then opening textra to send.

Custom ring tone and text message tone for contacts have been over ridden
My custom ring tone and text message tones for contacts have been over ridden and I can't switch it back even though in my contacts it shows them still having the custom tones. This would make this app perfect.

People cannot see the gifs I am sending ....
Idea is they should be able to see it ...I guess maybe if they have textra they would? Maybe create a system for none users and users to send silly gifs to each other.

Option for delivered and read as Apple does. 2 separate actions.
Have an option to show message read by recipient/recipients. We already have received option /delivered option with the time stamp.

List of pending messages
Textra supports the wonderful feature of scheduling future send dates/times for text messages, but these can be lost within the flow of messages and can be forgotten, especially if they are scheduled for weeks or months later. A useful feature would be to be able to see a list of all scheduled messages, either per contact or overall, with options to edit them, change the scheduled send times, or delete them.

Mobile Data
When my mobile data is not connected, and I'm at home on WiFi only, if someone sends an MMS text, it only gives me a notification in my status bar, saying to activate mobile data. I have no idea who it is from, until I turn data on. My suggestion is to have the MMS come thru on the convo thread of the person sending. Then an option to download. I don't like an attachment auto downloading due to security reasons. Please add this feature!

To support the always on display on the S7
Currently, only the stock messaging app on the S7 supports this feature, but I imagine other apps can add support. Considering I use Textra as my main messenger app, support for this future would be amazing.

Avatar's Contact Info
It would be nice to tap on an avatar and all of their contact info be displayed. Thus would allow one to call, text, or email the contact without having to go to a specific app to complete the desired action. Right now I believe you have to tap the avatar, tap to open up the contacts (within the contact's app), then select the desired action.
