It should be so very easy to add a new incoming texted to your address book but it's definitely NOT. I finally figured it out once but now can't remember! Options for Add to Contacts, and Open Contact should be on the first drop down menu.

Option to turn off group messages.
Last version has aa option to turn off group message. When we send an sms to more than one person, textra converts it automatically for MMS. I dont want that.
Please add the this feature again.

Push keyboard out of the way
When reaching the bottom of a message the keyboard pops up to allow typing but often I just want to see a message string. The keyboard (swiftkey) takes half the screen and makes it difficult to see. Need an option to slide keyboard out of the way.

Single GIF Size
I love GIFs, but they all come in different sizes (often small). I would greatly appreciate it if there was a single text box size for the GIFs. Thanks!¡!

I would really like to see any pre-existing conversation threads.
For example, if I select a contact from Favorites, whom I haven't messaged in a long while, (e.g. Birthday) - it would be nice to see the previous conversation thread whilst composing new message. A work around now is to search and select contact. Otherwise, a perfect app! Thank you!

Improve selection of contacts from group
This is an improvement on the item added in 2.35 (Link: https://textra.uservoice.com/forums/208555-feedback/suggestions/6104712-be-able-to-select-individuals-from-a-contact-group).
It would be nice to be able to select contacts from within the group before they are all embedded in the message's To box, like from a separate vertical list. In my mind I can just scroll down the list, single touch to select a contact from the group, and after I'm done selecting just the ones I wanted are embedded.

Ability to send pictures from clipboard.
Allow the ability to paste a copied picture into a message. Currently the only way to add a phone is if it is saved on device.

This is really a Nice app to work with...
This is really a Nice app to work with. I also like the customisability of the UI. However, I feel that there should be a chance to sync with the local SMS app of Android. If I delete any message in Textra, the local sms app of android also should be synced. So that I need not delete it in 2 places. One Textra & Two the regular SMS app of Android.
Please look into this & try to fix the sync issue

What if I don't want bubbles when texting?
It would be nice to have the option to NOT have bubbles when texting. Plus, why not add the option to customize the theme of your text? I.e. I want an picture of a potato on the background of my text log. Think about it, more features like this = more people.

Log outgoing SMS
I'm using a Samsung phone on Android 4.4.2. With the native SMS App, both incoming & outgoing messages appear in my call log. With Textra as my default app, only incoming messages appear in the log. It's often useful to use the log to track calls & messages per contact & date... Or is this a bug on my phone...? Or....?

Stop buzzing me with pubs I pay to have no more pubs and you even disturbing me several pub of 15 sec. each.

I think it would be nice if it scrolled down automatically when you get a new message
If i have my phone and I'm reading through the conversation and my phone is on silent I won't notice when I get a new message. This is just my opinion though

My idea is that if the boss sends out an early AM text on Monday cancelling the early AM meeting the next city over, then actually show me!
Actually show me the text cancelling an early AM meeting, put it in an inbox or start a thread right there, rather than only showing me replies, like "great" or "thank goodness!" Because I drove to the next county AM and confirmed, the boss texted me. My phone was on, and I got other employee's replies, so I know some sort of thread was started, so why not show me the first one actually cancelling the meeting so I didn't have to get up early and start driving across Florida?

Fix certain GIFs playing too fast.
Some GIFs have too fast of a playback which ruins the use of the GIF. Please fix this.
