the part where one message is stuck on top, like when you have a contact that you frequently talk to will stay on top such that it will not be pushed down when there are new messages.

It would be nice to access the web for specific pictures to include in text messages.
With another app I was able to search for picture messages like "Happy Birthday" or "good morning, have a great Tuesday." I love Textra, but miss this option.

Silde Either Left or Right To The Previous or Next Conversation.
It would be near if your in a conversation and you swipe either left or right and it goes to the previous or next conversation.

Timestamps
Timestamps: when visible then scrolling, it only shows time received, NOT both time they sent + time I received (due to phone unreachable). I must swipe away and then swipe to bring back to enable seeing both time events.
Can it be set up to always show both times if they are different?

Valuable Feedback: I saw this app today when browsing in playstore for something else; i a hardcore "handcent" user for past several years in my every handset. here's a list of shortcomings;
Every Contact should have their own notification settings.
The quick reply should stay in notification bar until i choose to close it, because when 4-5 msgs of 1 contact are there, and i just reply to only 1 msg, the notification is gone .and I cannot quick reply to other msgs of that user..... its the most annoying thing, seriously!

Need ability to add a photo or launch camera to add a picture to text.
Only way today: go to camera or gallery, take a picture or select one, click share, choose textra. All other text apps give you choices but textra only gives microphone voice to text via keyboard. Quite odd this missing link, especially given outside in via external app share works.

Override badge notification setting for individual contact
It would be great to be able to change which contacts influence the badge notification on the home screen, e.g. I get texts from Twitter but I would like it if the texts from Twitter did not affect the badge notification... So if I had two texts from friends and two from Twitter, the badge icon would show 2 rather than 4.
There's already individual contact settings so I don't think it would be too challenging to implement.

contacts on top of search suggestions
when searching for a name using the search at the top, the contact would appear on the very top of the list. no searching through conversations and group texts of the person first!

total number of messages sent and received
It would be better if you have a total number of messages sent counter. This will help subscribers to keep track of their sent messages especially for those who are subscribed to sms promos or combos. This will help keep track of the number of sms sent so you won't go over your limit
