    I'd like the option as before I upgraded to pro to be able to add a signature or switch between signatures within the outgoing text

  4. Have some way of backing up conversations to read on a computer at a later date.

    Give the option to export or backup your conversations. For switching phones or just to clear space on your device. So you could read the messages later on a computer or restore them to the device. Current apps don't really allow you to back up more than a couple of conversations at a time.

  5. Texting bug.

    When I type a text, send it, close the app, and reopen the app, my message has sent but the text is still in the typing bar. So I have to erase the previous words before entering my new message

    The emojis from Android can be way different than the apple emojis so it only makes sense to have apple emojis be an option.

  8. No sound in conversation needs to be optional

    No sound in a conversation needs to be optional. We don't just stare at our phones all day waiting for the next text. I often leave the app open and walk away, waiting to be alerted, to no avail. I thus miss texts. Please fix this so adults can more effectively use your app. Tnx!!

  12. Audio message glitch

    Okay this is really more of just something I noticed, and really less of a problem. When you recording audio message and send it to someone. And then you try to listen to the audio that you just sent. If you listen to the audio and rotate the phone from portrait to landscape or vice versa will the audio is playing it will cause the audio to stop playing and you have to restart listening to the entire thing again.     Make option to Set ON or OFF flash/push sms send by service provider.
    Default SONY MESSAGING APP has this feature and its very usefull.

    Android has yet to fully support Unicode 8 emojis, but ios devices have them and being able to view and send them is super valuable.

  19. Mms settings don't work for both images and emails

    Using nexus 6p, running most recent textra version as of 11/15. If I set the advanced mms setting to legacy, I can text to email but not receive pictures. But if I change it to system, I can get images but it breaks text to email. Instead of getting text in the email body, I get a .xml attachment and a .text attachment, neither of which are readable.

  20. Contact Customization in the message List

    I tried out Messenger just now, and it's getting better, but it's still a far cry from Textra. However, I noticed that it has different colors for each contact icon (their initials) in the message list. It would be great if Textra would propagate the color I've selected for a contact's text bubbles up to the initials in the message list.

    At the same time, it would be great to see either a global or per-contact setting whether to show the contact's picture. To be honest, there are just some people whose face I don't want to see all the…
