  2. add more theme & accent colors with different tones

    Apps like Shuttle+ (music player) lets user to choose color (e.g. Red) and then choose one of some color tone. (For example: cherry red, bright red, dark red, blood red, almost white red and so long and so far) it would be great to have more to choose from by clicking on any colors and getting its tones with different hue, shadings, brightness etc. Hope you understood what I suggesting :D

  4. Animation when a SMS is send (like hangouts does)

    Id like see a discrete and fluid animation when I sent a SMS. Like Hangouts for example.

  5. Options to change the app logo for your menus and home screen.

    Instead of the blue message box with Textra underneath I would love the option of having something that looks more like the default messaging logo etc.

  7. I would love to see contacts pics when texting in conversation

    I would love when I send a text to see my picture likemy contact picture said this and then my message. And for whoever responds for that persons pic to be displayed then the message. Make it happen!

  8. Change Contact Banner Color

    Could you add in the ability to cage yhe color for individual contacts on the top of the screen. Having that be different colors would help further differentiate between contacts.

  11. Grandfathering existing customers so they won't have to pay to do away with the ads

    Ok, so I realize that your end goal is to make a heavy profit off of this app and that is understandable considering this is a business but I feel your new "pay us or get hounded with ads" approach is terrible business sense. I believe that you should have grandfathered all of your already existing and quite happy customers into the non-ad texting app that they downloaded/signed up for in the first place and then just gave the "Pay us or you'll be laden with ads" option to new customers.   14. Add sent messages to the individual recipient's threads.

    Really like this app, but surely the messages I send to multiple recipients should then appear in each of those recipient's conversation windows in textra. For example if I text Bob and Jim: "come to my party", then I need the message "come to my party" to appear in Jim's message stream just above where he replies "yes". Please make this change.

  15. Regarding scrolling in a text message.

    Google messenger is the only other text message app i have seen that does this. If i am scrolling in a group chat or even a regular text message to catch up on my texts, if the other person sends a text it automaticlly will reset the scroll bar to the newest text. I have to scroll up again to read up and hope that the other person will not send a text. Google messenger comes up with a little bubble that says a new text has arrived but it lets you scroll through your messages still. Wondering if this…

  19. Suggestions re customization after latest patch.

    Hi,

    I have a few suggestions. I appreciate the move towards customization; however, I feel there are things that are missing or could be done better.

    • The color picker for the notification icons now has FEWER colors than it did before. Also, it does not have colors that correspond to the bubble colors. I suggest using the new color picker for the notification icons.
    • Accent colors: can only select from a predefined four? Please allow selection of any color.
    • I'm curious why you don't simply use a traditional color picker (of at least a 256-color palette) and…

  20. Enable content editing of scheduled messages.

    after making a scheduled message, there are times when a need to edit its content arises. but the app doesn't have this option. i think it would help if the content of the scheduled message can be edited by not deleting the message and rescheduling again.
