  1. Open from directly from lock screen

    On my HTC One when I slide one of the main icons (the ones that are always visible on the bottom of the screen) it usually opens the app - ie Phone or Web Browser. This does not work with Textra. Swiping the Textra icon unlocks the phone but I still have to start Textra with another app. I'd like the Textra app to start like the others when I swipe from the lock screen.

  2. make separate bubble notifications that stays on the screen until opened!

    like facebook chat has those bubble popups, give us a second option for notifications

  3. I would like to see a darker color scheme. maybe some greys like a dark blue gray. I live the colors but they are all so bright.

  6. when sending a text, show it in the thread optimistically immediately to increase perception of speed.

    right now when i send a text there is a 1-2 second delay before it shows up in the thread. make it show immediately so that the user feels the app is faster. oh and also, this edittext should use textCapSentences :)

  13. sending instant message to other than contacts

    I have a problem in forwarding a message which i have in my inbox to a contact which is not saved in my contact list. there should be an option to select the call logs along with the contacts, groups and favorites. so that we can select a number fro the call logs to send a message. this option is there in samsung which very useful to the office working ppl to forward a message which is stored in inbox used regularly like address etc.

  16. Allow customization of the green triangle that shows unread messages. (different colors)

    yellow, purple, pink, blue, gray, white, red, orange, to name a few.

  18. Allow contact pictures to be hidden/disabled from the conversation list.

    I personally hate contact pictures and the biggest selling point for a messenger for me is being able to make them go away.
