  1. Move position of "Blocklist" in Quick Reply window

    I voted yes for someone who had a similar idea. in the quick reply window or the pop-up window when I'm sharing a link in Textra the upper right drop-down menu has Blocklist at the top. I have accidentally blocklisted my friends so many times when intending just to close the window. Please move it down in the menu and put Close Window or Done at the top

  2. Fix system dark mode color issues.

    The issue is that when you set your phone to dark mode, it messes up the text color. It makes it always white, no matter which of the 4 is selected. This makes many of the bubble colors useless. System dark mode also interferes with the bubble colors. What is shown in the selection vs. what you selected.

    Can there be a setting to ignore system dark mode? Or maybe fix this coloring issue? I have Textra set to black on screen color. No matter which I select, the text appears white unless I switch to light mode on my…

  4. Notification vibration

    Please let us customize the vibration notification pattern or use the system vibration pattern. The default one makes me anxious. I've noticed that other people have been suggesting this feature and it has yet to be implemented.

  6. Facetime like Tool for Android users

    it would be a huge improvement if there was an option for video calling straight from the texting box. Plus android users need their own FaceTime tool !

  7. Message tone

    The message tone hasn't worked for me on my galaxy note 10 for about 2 are more month's, their isn't any place to add your message tone either, I've loved this app up until it stopped working, I paid for it and now it won't work, please fix it back please.. Thank you and God bless

  8. get rid of random underlining

    I wind up with random underlining in sent messages. I can understand the underlining is helpful while you're composing. but random chunks of it winds up sending with the message giving undo emphasis to the underlined words. can this please stop?

  11. please implement FUNTIONALITY MARK AS UNREAD

    It would be GREAT if Textra would have functionality to be able to "mark as unread" such that the user can see the importance of following up on that text. seems like an easy fix.

  12. Pixel 3a Android 12 unable to send text.

    Settings/Apps/Textra/SMS App-Manually select Textra as default SMS app. Selecting this option from within Textra did not work.

    The button to change the sim card is too close to the send button, sometimes we change the the sim card juste before send the text ! it's not ergonomic !

  14. dark mode background/txt visibility

    Hi, we have to choose some color sets (text/bckgd) that works good in sunlight (colors are different enough to read the msg) but are bad to seen on dark mode. Can You create a rule that improves visibility, for example 'in dark mode leave txt clear white (FFFFFF)'? And another thing, i have some situations like riding a bike, when I try only to read ahort msg ' i' m waiting 4U at coords:... ' but i cause to small (default) text. Maybe is possible to zoom text size by pressing volume +- buttons?

  18. google play not enable required

    now it requires us to enable Google play in order to use app properly, some don't want it enabled due to it automatically update apps even though we switch to do not update..
    pls fix or we look for new app

    • lockable conversations
    • ability to hide/lock specific selections of text in conversation

    • ability to select any font installed on phone for the theme
    • spectrum colour picker (instead of a preset range of hues)
    • toggle showing contact names within text messages in group convos on/off
    • toggle text message reaction glow effects on/off (personally don't like em)
    • set colour or image wallpapers for conversations

  20. sms backgrounds / reactions

    please consider allowing us to make a background a wallpaper or a certain color. every other sms app has this feature but you. also allow message reactions similar to imessage.
