    a dark mode background option for the app icon would be wonderful. the white icon background stands out on my home screen like a sore thumb.

  3. Auto Reply when driving

    I like many other would love auto reply implemented in app. Many other apps have this option built in and would like it to be a part of this texting app. Please look into adding this.

  4. Choose mms storage.

    Textra doesnt let you choose where you want to store mms that u save. Have note 20 ultra Samsung and it goes to Gallery automatically instead of Google photos. Is there a way to change this. Tks

  5. button for group vs bulk

    this is the only feature I really want in textra. my old app had a button when I added multiple contacts to change the setting from group to bulk right in the chat window without having to go to settings. really wish it was that easy in textra!

  6. Add/remove people from group chats

    You should add the option to add or remove people from group chats. This would be greatly beneficial when people have a change in phone number but you don't want to start a new group chat.

  7. Galaxy 4 smartwatch

    Is there any way Textra can be adapted for the new generation of Samsung Galaxy watches? I've used Textra for so long, but if I want to use my watch for notifications, I don't have the choice at this time other than the native Samsung messages app. :(

  8. Not looking to submit an idea, looking for support

    I have had this issue for a year , my paid Textra no longer populate my contact list when I reinstall. It used to work long ago, now I'm getting an incomplete contact list.

  10. be able to add attachments other than pictures

    it seems like there is no direct way in the Textra app to send an attachment that isn't a picture. ex. audio files

    Would it be possible to add the call button to the top of the conversation thread? This would save some taps in case you wanted to call a contact instead of message back.

    Since half of the reason I love using Textra is setting a custom color for each of my contacts, we should be able to set group chats to be multicolored, or even just rainbow 🌈

  16. Interpret iMessage "tapback" icons

    So annoying when iPhone users "Liked/Emphasized/Questioned a ____" and the response reprints my entire text. Google Messaging app interprets this now. It would be great if Textra Pro would, too. I volunteer to Beta test it!

  18. Make "look up" for specific words in messages

    Create the option to look up for certain words/numbers within the app to find messages that includes them, helping to find important info or just to find something from past messages without going individually into weeks worth of texts

  20. Implement RCS or Chat Messaging

    iMessage-like features for your android cellular messaging app. The three main features this would allow for would be:

    • Allows for Read Receipts
    • Shows when a user is typing
    • Allows for higher file sizes to be sent with Textra (up to 105 MB)
