  2. Secure Folder with Hidden Access + Flexible Call/SMS Blocking

    I would love to see Textra include a secure folder for private chats. To keep it truly hidden, the folder could only be revealed by typing a password in the search bar. This would ensure maximum privacy and security.

    Along with this, having a hidden Whitelist/Blacklist option would help users manage contacts more easily.

    It would also be very useful if number blocking could apply not only to SMS but also to calls. To make it flexible, users could simply tick the options they prefer:

    Block calls only

    Block texts only

    Block both

  3. Option to open app instead of bubble

    It would be nice if there was ab option to disable the "bubble" when tapping an incoming message either from the banner or notification drawer. I prefer to have the message open directly in the app where I can reply from and not a bubbled message that disappears.

  4. More reactions please!

    Love that I can react to messages, but five basic options aren't really doing it. Please could we have customizable options from the vast stock of emojis that Textra operates with? I love this app, but this is super behind other options. I've already voted on most of the similar requests but it looks like it's been a couple years with no movement on this issue, despite numerous requests.

  5. Customize notifications

    I really love Textra SMS and want to congratulate you on a fantastic app!
    One small suggestion: in the notification repeat settings, it would be great if users could choose the repeat interval, not just the number of repeats.
    Please consider adding options to set the repeat interval to 2, 5, or 10 minutes.

    there are times that I've typed a long message to only have a reply come in before I send it. it would be very nice if there was a way to discard that message rather than backspacing it off or trying to highlight and cut it

  9. Group text threads into folders

    I'd love an option to create folders as a way to organize texts from different contacts. For example, I could make a workplace folder where I could find all of the text threads I have from coworkers and supervisors. That way those text threads don't clog up my recent texts. A real dream would be that one day a folder could be automated to group all authentication texts from businesses so I don't need to delete them in order to avoid that same clogging issue.

    I love your app since few year.
    and now I just want to know if the new message format (italic, bold, RCS, emoji as answer to z message) is supported. and how to enable this because I don't find how on the options.

    I would like the ability to go into the drop down menu / settings of any specific chat / group chat and have the option to bubble the chat and/or select 1 or more chats and, in the three-dot menu, have an option to bubble the selected conversations instantly.

  19. Plz make Imergency Alerts to be seen on the screen

    I hope to be able to see Imergency alerts on the app just like the other message apps such as smasung message, google message, and many others. I understood why the messege is not showing. It is because the emergency alert is based on cell broad casting method which is quite diffrentiated from RCS method that your app is originally willing to. But I really hope to see imergency alerts for public convenience and it will definitely improve market adventages of your app.
