so me and my girlfriend text a lot and sometimes she sneds vids but the quality is kinda low I know it's here because I go to my messaging app that came stock with my phone and it was just fine I was hoping that this could be improved and making the quality a bit better

Turn off camera sounds
I recently updated to Android 10 and now there is a sound when I take a photo using the attach option. I have sounds turned off in my phone settings so I don't hear anything when I just use the camera app but I do hear a sound while using the camera function inside a text conversation.

Contact Sort Sequence/Display
Would be beneficial to allow Contacts to be displayed and sequenced Last Name First, if preferred.
This would mirror other Apps that used Contacts within the App, and also allow this capability.
It would also match Google/Samsung Contact Apps, if uses has elected Last Name First Display and Sequencing.2 votes -
Lower level alerts for unknown numbers
I don't necessarily want to block unknown numbers, but if I could set them not to vibrate or separate their messages from the ones of my contacts into a separate folder or something like that, that would really help with the spam issue.

Add/Remove Individuals from a Group Text
I would like to add a new individual to a text group, with the option to send the text history to the new individual. Either all or for a time period, ie today or last hour.
I would also like to remove an individual, but either keep or remove their text history.
Reasoning for Request
Often I have been in a text group and for whatever reason I need to add someone to a discussion. Everyone has to move over to a new text group with the new person.After a person is no longer needed in a text group…

Camera in full screen
When I want to take a photo in this app, by default, the camera only use a fraction of the screen and thus from the camera.
Please make an option to disable that and automatically open the full screen camera option
