Fitbit watch
I have a Fitbit smartwatch but cannot read my text messages apparently because I'm using a textra message. I enjoy using textra. I hate to give it up. Any ideas?

option to make 'delivered' a small checkmark instead
currently the delivered thing makes bubble text shapes look weird. I think a checkmark to the side will alleviate that.

Bitmap Background
For me when I picked a messaging app it was all about the theming. Of course the app itself had to have great functionality and meet my needs, which Textra does beautifully. So it's a combination of the both, theme and functionality. I have already suggested a Color Picker. I also think the ability to add wallpapers or images for backgrounds would be great. Just to add a little bit more customization

Allow copying of links, numbers, partial or full text
Textra doesn't allow one to copy any email id, numbers or partial or full text content. This is problematic at times of need.

Web/PC Client
Please make it so we can send/read texts on our PCs. Would absolutely love this to be a thing since Google Messages has been buggy as heck lately. I see people have been asking for ages and no response. Might as well throw my feedback into the loop.

Wider Conversation Bubbles
I have a narrow LG ThinQ phone and I still have lots of real estate to have a wider bubble, even with timestamp room on the side. This would improve paragraph formatting.

Delete OTP, package delivery notifications, food delivery notifications.

highlight new messages
it would be great if all new incoming messages would be highlighted a different color than all the other read messages. just having a small red number next to the Avatar is not so easy to notice.

Love and hate, the most annoying but useful software
the delay before shifting the advertising, to trick me into clicking it, is so annoying that I keep removing Textra and going back to my previous messenger app. I see the adv, thanks. but by being tricked into clicking on something that I do not want, you have sold to google that I DO want something like that, and I hate that!

Draft New Message
draft a new message BEFORE indicating who the contact is.
sometimes I want to send a long paragraph but I want to check it before sending it. right now you have to indicate the contact before drafting a message and I don't want to send the message on accident before i'm ready to send it1 vote -
Why is light and dark mode now black?
It used to be light and dark. Now it's light and black. This should be an option!

Hide unread message count on muted conversations
This would be useful for conversations you want nothing to do with but can't get out of. No visual indication of activity would be helpful.
