  1. Auto save pic in the general settings

    there is an option in auto save pictures in customizing a single conversation.
    it would be great if there was an option to have auto save pictures in the general settings of the app to apply to all conversations.
    this would give the user more flexibility to auto save in all conversations and the uncheck a singular conversation if the user does not want to save pictures in a particular conversation.

  2. Add a delay before deleting a thread

    Add a slight delay before deleting messages or if an entire thread is going to be deleted, ask if that action is correct. Twice I have unintentionally deleted my entire Twitter thread by mistake. If there was a couple of seconds delay, I could have got them back. I didn't even realize I had selected the Twitter thread until it mentioned not being able to delete locked messages which were some of the messages in the thread.

  3. integration with Google photos

    if you use Google photos for everything then you surely have gone to send a pic to someone and realized you have to leave your messaging app and actually open up Google photos to send it because it's not actually on your phone
    let's fix that! let's give Textra permission to use Google photos and share photos directly from Textra rather then leaving the lovely texty app

  4. text zoom

    with pinch or volume buttons .. Samsung txt app uses volume buttons and it works well .. I sometimes want to change the font size based on the size of the message thread (and how tired my eyes are 😋 ) .. going into settings everytime is annoying.. thx!!

  8. Find a workaround to bring back colored (customizable, even), notification icons!!

    I realize it was removed due to new Google Play Store requirements and Android changes, but there must be a way to have our color notification icons back!
    I wud love to take it a step further & be able to choose our own colors & even out own icons (preferably from other icons packs we've already bought and own or that are already on our phones/ systems. After all they're just .png files.

  11. Option to sort MMS by sent time instead of received time

    often times MMS comes in delayed and put of order. it would be good to be able to have Textra auto sort by time sent instead of time received because that is out of order.

  17. Blacklisted by mistake

    can you add a date to when something is blacklisted? if you got that option by mistake but didn't catch the phone number is almost impossible to find it and correct the error.

    you need to be able to add someone to the blacklist without them having texted you first. right now you can only add to the blacklist from a received text.
