  1. customization options

    Add ability to copy pieces of a text instead of just whole thing. Add ability to not only change color of light alert indicator but the frequency of the flash to make it faster or slower.

  3. search function

    Consider expanded search option. i.e. search by individual conversation and MMS (attachment or picture) Prior texting app I used had a search by mms within conversation. Was rather useful.

  4. Like 👍🏾 or Unlike 👎🏾 options

    Would like to be able to like a text similar to what you can do on Messenger. And I believe people with iPhones can do it now also. Be a great option!

    When I open any conversation, Google thinks I need an email so it pulls up all my emails. I assume it's just an autofill error but I would like this fixed please.

  7. Help to find emojis faster

    Hi,

    Would be great to add an option which helps to find faster an emoji by typing a keyword in the texting area.
    For example, when I type "dog", a dog emoji appears above. If I type ":)", a smiley emoji appears.
    This is something I've already seen in other apps.
    Hope my english is clear enough 😊

  9. battery on update?

    suddenly the battery in my. s10+is about dead at the end of the evening and it looks like this app is sucking all the power away. granted I've never really looked at battery usage before, but I've never had to charge more than once every two days. Facebook messenger is the next likely culprit!

    bonjour, votre application ne dispose pas de la fonctionnalite <reponse rapide> comme samsung, ou yata, je voudrai un onglet, avec la possibilite de choisir des reponses toute faite, (tres important pour les business man, qui font souvent les meme phrases). sans cette fonctionalite je n'utiliserai pas votre application par defaut.

  12. Settings backup

    Please for the love of whoever you pray to. Please add the google backup API so it automatically backups the settings. I've had to change phones 3 times due to problems and evertime I install from Google this one I have to go through and set up everything again. Very few apps now I have to setup as they download how they were on my old phones. Please please please make this happen.

  16. Be able to scale date font, and disable side timestamps!

    Hi I love the app and feel like it's a bit annoying swiping up to read conversations and constantly sliding to see the side timestamps. I think they're unique and should remain within the app but feel as though I'd be cool to turn it off for those of us who don't really use those and upscale the font date in the middle of the chat (: please!

  18. Option for Color/Contact theme to Not Affect top Bar

    Whenever you change the main color of your contacts, the top bar (where it says "Textra" and when in a thread, the contact name) matches that color.

    I would like to see an option that prevents the top bar from being affected by color changes, so it always matches the theme (light, dark, black) while the bubbles, notifications, accents, etc. remain colored.
