  1. Background customization

    This app is EVERYTHING anyone could ask for!!! I've been using it for years and the devs have definitely taken our ideas and improved it. The ONLY thing this app is missing is the ability to insert a background picture behind the text messages. PLEASE bring that feature with the next update, we would GREATLY appreciate it!

  6. Day and Night Custom times

    I like to be in bed well before 9pm, but love the idea of the "day time" and "night time" transition, but the white screen is WAYYY too bright for me past bedtime and it's set at 10pm. it would be so wonderful to keep this day and night theme happening, but with custom times I can set myself.

  7. Spam blocker

    A filter that allows me to block certain characters or words. I would like to block all texts coming from spam email addresses. Instead of blocking them individually (which is pointless), is like to be able to block any message where the sender has an @ in their name/number.

  11. Double-tap "Remove" action in notifications to remove message.

    Currently, the "remove" quick action in the notifications immediately removes the message, which is problematic since it's even easier to misclick. Adding a "double-tap" or a prompt to ensure you want to remove the message would correct that.

    Please? Please? I bought the Textra app over a year ago to support you guys! I would buy a widget for my galaxy watch to be compatible with textra. I hate the android S8 messages default. It's just so uncustomizable. Can we start a GoFundMe for a watch widget? Tired of not being able to respond to texts on my smartwatch. I would donate for that cause! ♡ love textra!   18. Type of number

    There are many instances that I have multiple numbers for a person, eg work and personal mobile. When composing an email and type the user's name, I have no idea which number I'm sending to. some identifier would be great.
