Text to emoji
When you text a word that links with an emoji, have an option for it to automatically turn into an emoji W/o the word being present, like FB messenger.

Carbon Copy Texts
automatically send carbon copies of texts to certain persons when texting a certain person (not a group message)
for example: if i text person 1, messages will automatically forwarded to persons 2 and 3; and it i text person 4, automatically texts will also be forwarded to persons 2 and 3

Links in message used to show a preview
when you send a YouTube link it used to preview the link with a photo and description. I would like to see that option come back.

Add option to disable text vibration
When I'm in chat with someone else and they message me, my phone vibrates. Doesn't matter if I turn off vibrations from app notifications. Please fix this annoying issue. At least give us an option to disable vibration in app!!!

Love this app!! Can we get more color choices for the notification icons? Or even the ability to apply the theme color you have chosen for a contact to that person's notification?

One handed messages lists
An ability to change the UI to a "one handed" mode. Something similar to what Samsung has done in its new UI. It would mean that the list of messages starts at about halfway down the screen.
It would greatly improve the experience for people with big phones.

Disable / Block Group Texts
Since Android does not natively support this option, it would be nice if Textra could give us the ability to block or disable group messaging.

you should be able to just set a repeat duration until answered. say every 5 minutes

I definitely think we need a better gif search feature. I find myself having to swap to other messaging apps when I want to send gifs. other than that Textra is great. long time pro user.
