There are many many SPAM SMS in the world. And I think it is necessary to add feature "Silent notification" for unrecognized number.

the screen color has very minimum options - dark, light etc. love to have subtle background colors or a theme.

open last conversation
it would be great if you could set it so that when Textra opens it would automatically go to the last conversation you had. That way you don't have to keep tapping three times to get back to the conversation that you were having

Compose to Texting Group Names
the ability to compose to a group name EVEN IF the named group thread has been deleted. it appears you are able to compose to a named group by typing the name of the group IF the named group thread isn't deleted. it seems odd that you can't compose to a named group thread if the thread is deleted since the name persists and appears when a message is received by the group of people in the thread

More powerful SMS schedule
I often send sms to check remaining of my data charge.
But, I found difficult to set sms schedule because there was no sms schedule with option "every day". The option is on specific date only. I wish there was an option to send sms every day at specific time. Or, an option to send sms every 1 hour, 2 hour, 3 hour, etc.
It will be nice if Textra has feature like this, every day sms schedule..., and every several hour.

Auto Labelling & handling of SMS
Gmail has powerful labels & filters that act on those labels which work seamlessly
like that if we can add labels, tag them, display them based on labels, move them to bin after a duration for some labels etc
they promise immense possibilities, and easy to use and manage flooding SMS

Backup and Restore Textra settings
It seems silly that Textra doesn't already have this. Having recently upgraded devices, Textra was one the only apps that I had to manually go through and recustomize all my settings.
At a minimum, please add a backup and restore function to the settings. Going beyond that, creating a login feature with our Google account to automatically restore settings once logged into a new device (like 90% of apps at this point) would be super!! Thank you :)

Allow Back Up of Messages
When shifting to a new phone, there should be a back up to sync messages if both phones are installed with textra as an alternative messaging app. Looking forward! More power! x
