I really want to be able to see when someone read my message or is typing. The only thing wrong with Textra :)

Custom emoji style per contact
Having both Android and iOS style emoji is great, but being able to specify which contact uses which style is better.
By being able to set my contacts that use an iPhone as iOS style, and my contacts who use Android to Android style, I would know exactly what they see when I send an emoji, and I see exactly what they send to me.

Una volta creato un messaggio destinato ad un gruppo di persone sarebbe utile poter avere l' opportunità di poter togliere uno o più destinatari prima di spedire il messaggio. Grazie per l' attenzione.

badge not working
I use Nova Prime and Tesla Unread, but only ever get a badge with an exclamation mark for Textra. I saw the article about badge counts but don't have that setting in my Textra.i get badge counts for Gmail and Play store and other apps.

Ability for texts to be read out loud.
Tap the text and have a "speak" option to be able to listen to the message read out loud while driving.

International Contacts
To text an international contact, I must create a new contact different enough that TextMate does not pick my local contact.
Example. I go to Cuba. I text someone, number is eight digits, 55446688. But Textra sends it to 0115355446688. Of course it fails, and I must edit and eliminate 01153 and resend.
I go home and send a text to 0115355446688, an additional number in my contact. It fails because Textra picks up 55446688. So I must edit my contact and try again. Very frustrating. Sometimes I must eliminate an entire conversation before it works.8 votes -
Grouping all messages from unknown contacts in a single thread
Its better to create a single thread for all messages from unknown numbers, messages from network carriers and promotional/advertising messages. So the messaging window will be less cluttered. Also provide an option to set custom notification tone for unknown number messages.

Combine conversations from same contacts that are split due to international roaming
Every time I travel internationally, Textra generates a new thread. I'm guessing this is due to the various prefixes needed to send the SMS / MMS.
A quick fix may be to combine the conversations based on the last xx digits of the number, ignoring the prefix?

Mobile Contacts Only - update filter to include lowercase
Textra only shows phone numbers labeled as "Mobile" (proper case) when Mobile Contacts only is selected. Please update filter to include "mobile" (lowercase) as well. Google Contacts sync to device as lowercase. Or maybe Samsung imports them as lowercase. Either way, phone numbers listed as "mobile" do not display when Mobile Contacts olny is selected.

Add Contacts to Group Message
Adding new contacts to a group message will allow everyone to keep the same group message if you need to add someone.

Call/Delete Feature
Ive noticed that if you swipe left lr right on a contact then it will either Call or Delete thw Contact. I feel like its too easy to accidentally Call or Delete Someone. I would Like it if there was a setting that could Enable or Disable this feature. Thanks

Wallpaper
1 - Add the possibility to add a wallpaper of your choice.
2 - Add the option of automatically using the same wallpaper as your phones launcher.
3 - Add the option of using other colours as background, rather than just White, Dark Grey and Black.

Multiple inboxes for Dual SIM
Please include a setting to separate or at least sort out messages based on which sim used. This would help keep things cleaner. Thanks!

Better MMS photo/video compression
Can you please look into better MMS photo/video compression? It seems like it takes forever to send a photo via MMS. I have data size set to max for Verizon and I understand that a higher resolution photo/video will take longer. These are sent from my gallery, not taken using Textra. Just wondering if there's a way to improve compression. Thanks!

notification frequency
I have a lot of contacts who text sentences like this:
hey
how are
you
doing
today? do you
want
to
go get
something
to
eat later?sometimes with up to 30 second pauses in between each line. Getting a notification for every single line really feels like overkill. Is it possible to add an option to prevent Textra from sending another notification within a set amount of time for any new incoming messages?
