    same as the previous Notification Badges post, the badge count zeros when the notification pulldown is swiped. the badge count should remain unread because the notification pulldown was just dismissed, and not read entirely.

  4. Move "trash" two icons to the left?

    Please consider moving the "trash" button farthest from the menu drop down. If I accidentally pin it then it's no big deal to unpin. But as it is I just accidentally deleted the selected conversation. Yes, it was my fault for being distracted. But since I'm not the only one who gets distracted it seems like a small request that each might benefit from. I'd prefer this vs an 'undo' because they generally time out. Thanks for considering.

    you should change the look of the app to Android P UI. I kinda like the new look of the Google Message app (Android P Interface). Hoping to have an Android P Textra in the next update.

  8. Fonts

    I've seen some ideas about this already but, wanted to be a little more extensive about fonts. Rather than just changing it in general.

    First would be of having the capability of changing font size just on textra.

    Additionally adding a bold feature to text as some of the text looks thin compared to the text bubbles.

    lastly adding customizable fonts such as cursive or what ever your heart desires.

  11. Mute messages from non-contacts

    it would be helpful if there was an easy way to mute all messages from numbers that are not in my Contacts. for instance unsolicited political messages are not against the law so muting numbers I don't know would grant me some sanity from them.

    separate colors for Edge lighting on Samsung phones for different contacts. kind of like the LED colors. idk if it's possible but I'll pay even more money to make it happen if you could!

  13. Please show groups in suggestions while searching for name.

    While searching for contacts, search not works for the group members of the conversation which I had sent earlier. If suggestions for them too visible in search bar while sending a new message, that would be helpful.

  18. Email your conversation like a print sheet, instead of having multiple screenshots.

    You just got into a heated argument with someone.

    You know from past experiences that they like to lie and make up stories about what you said or sent to them.

    Now I know the Textra app has options under their settings, to back up all SMS & MMS.
    However; you might want & need those messages saved straight away or need to pass them onto someone else before anything happens to them or your phone.

    Instead; at this moment of you having to go to camera & then screenshot every single section to showing in order the conversation you…

  19. Compose Button

    In Messages Version 4.4.30.5 on a Galaxy Note 8, there is a Compose button that while you where texting you could add recipients to your messages. It definitely was one of my favorite features of messages.

  20. Texts Sorted By Date/Pinned Contacts

    It would be nice to have a setup where text messages are displayed in sections according to date and pinned contacts.

    For example. The first section header would be pinned contacts, the second section header would be unread messages, the third section header would be texts received today, the next section yesterday's text and so on.
