  1. Contacts numbers

    Could it be possible to permanently DISPLAY the number of the contact I'm writing to?
    Many contacts are saved with more than one number. And depending on which number I'm writing to, I will have to choose my sending SIM card.
    Because of this I've drained all my money sending to the wrong number of a contact.

  3. Change Group Text Icon

    I would like the option to change the icon for a group, much like we can change our contact photo icons. it is aggravating to have to see a number instead of a picture I could customize somehow.

  4. type text first, choose contact later

    I'm used from my old phones to FIRST type my messages and THEN choose the recipient. I'm a bit flabbergasted that Textra doesn't let you do this. ... Even the Samsung stock messaging app allows this.

  5. Security for web preview

    Is there a way to limit web previews to only people in your contact list? Hitting urls for unknown senders seems like a significant security risk.

  7. group messaging

    My problem with textra is: everytime i send a group message (usually 3-4 pages of sms to 100 contacts a group), i oftentimes receive this pop up notification: "Textra is sending a large number of SMS messages. Do you want to allow this up to continue sending messages?" So for several times i have to tap "allow".Is this really the standard operating procedure? No way to juct click "allow" for omly one time and then the app will automatically. that is everyday, send it without interruption?

  11. Time delay for repeat notifications

    Set the time delay before a notification is repeated for unread messages

    I use text less often now, so if I dismiss a notification (usually a long message I don't have time to reply to) I'd like to get the notification again in an hour or two if I still haven't read it. Otherwise I won't see it because I don't often open the app

  13. Change font color

    We should be able to change the color of the fonts in messages and in the menus. I use the dark background but hate the glaring white font. It would be nice if I could change to a color that is easier on the eyes.

    Hello hoping you guys can keep ads box always at top and change ad inside box. I hate the way the box PDFs down the messages after a second it so. I have no issue with ads at all except for this. Cheers

    hi, can you put time stamped for the day use as how long ago the msg was received or sent like a msg sent 5 mins ago will show 5 mins not time. so that I don't to think how long ago the msg was sent or received. thanks.

  19. Read Receipts

    It would be nice to know when your friend , mom/dad , younger or older sibling(s) boyfriend/girlfriend , or anyone else , read your message . Compared to it only being known as delivered and not read. We need read receipts ! 🤷🏼‍♀️
